To null via wormholes

what if when you jump to a null system via a wormhole, your ship doesn't appear in local? or it is delayed to appear based on ship size.

I always thought it was odd that ships arriving from WHs would instantly appear on local, stargates fine you own the system, but you don't own wormholes, can't track every ship through its disturbance instantly.

This can be applied to any system not just null.

What do you think?

Though lorewise you might make the argument that local runs off of stargates, and takes time for the stargates to pick up on.
But this would be BS, in the fact that you would REALLY not be able to defend against invaders. At least now they show up on local, and you cna catch them on gates easy enough. this idea would make it worse

Every wormhole corp ever proves that its easy to defend space without people showing up in local.

THis change makes sense. Not complete removal but a delay for the stargates to pick on on your ships signal would be cool.

1. Its simply that everyone doesn't run and hide like the nullbears do when they know or don't know that someone else is around. (when you see unfriendly probes though, most will run to switch to their pvpdrakes/canes tho).

Also fewer people have the balls to attack in WHs as they do in null because they themselves don't have intel, when odds are the WH corp would have a better advantage in intel. ("here we are with our 40 man oracle/talos/armorcane gang, and we're gonna harass these WHbea... WTF whered those bombs come from")

2. Making it so it delays only for some people is unbalanced. If your gonna do that, why not make it so all ships have that delay rather than just WH 1s.
Though if this carrys on anymore it will turn into AFK cloakies in null and remove local.

3. What legitimate reason is there that a gang approaching from a WH should have a stealth advantage? The fact that they didnt have to come in through systems before that they could have been detected in should be enough of an advantage.

Logically speaking (I know I know it's a game) - this idea makes excellent sense and I would stand, firmly, in favor of this idea.

Local as intel should be revamped in general, not messed up further.
