So what would Incursion runners go do if Sansha withdrew from Empire ?

These are people who avoid 0.5 and 0.6 I doubt you'll ever see one in low sec. I know you were kidding, I'm just being snarky. Sometimes I want to break their shiny toys just because.

Uh, quit talking rubbish. Incursion runners are in 0.5 & 0.6 all the time. They cross through well known gank choke points every time the incursions move pretty much, and will run in whatever system the level of incursion they are running happens to be.
Obviously if they get to choose between a 0.5 & a 1.0 they will minimise risk and go to the 1.0, just like every single other player in EVE will take the safer option if both pay exactly the same. But the rest of the time they will be right where the incursion says.

As for removing incursions.... So you want to remove one of the few PvE activities that promotes & rewards co-operation & fleet tactics, as well as having competition & PvP aspects involved that is limited in availability, in favour of everyone going back to infinite solo missions and being antisocial? Really?

The whole lets all fly cheap **** and smash things gets a bit old eventually. Whilst the majority of EVE seem to enjoy the idea of living in a Ghetto and acting all gangster (I can only assume in real life they all work in the accounts section of a big company pushing paper all day) I think its good the occasional person likes to fly the EVE equivalent of a Ferrari.

They would probably do what I do.

I dont do incursions. I dont trust strangers enough with a shinny ship and we never have the numbers to run them regularly in my corp. I will only eventually do them flying Logi once I get good enough at keeping people alive.

Run missions, do production... you know all that normal money making stuff you do between making noops in haulers crap themselves in lowsec.

Its been awhile but we've gone incursion mode on level 4's before. Go into a level 4 in a small buffer tanked PVP fleet with logi support so new people can learn fleet composition and how to function in a fleet while we keep there frig alive in a level 4.

Or just hop on over to SISI and test 1v1 and small gang fits and tactics.
