Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Ok, lets start with what sounds like a stupid question: How do you fit your ship?

To elaborate: I prefer to fit my ship by dragging modules to a desired slot rather than right-clicking the module and selecting to fit to the current ship. The problem is that the fitting window is pretty big and usually my inventory windows are as well. In order to drag modules from inventory to the fitting window I almost always seem to need to move the two windows around and often need to resize the inventory window.

Is there a better way to do this (while still using drag and drop)?

I thought about putting this is in the suggestion forum, but I wasn't quite sure I wasn't just missing something that already exists.

What I would like to work is that if I'm dragging a module and hover over a window for a second or two, that the window which I'm hovering over would come to the top. Then I only need to have a corner exposed and I can perform the drag and drop without much fuss.
