Need help with Balancing the Books (4 of 10) in Amarr space......

I just started the Career Agent Missions in Amarr space (Pasha) to bring up my standings. I started with the Business Agent in Pasha and I am stuck on the Balancing the Books (4 of 10) mission.

I'm instructed to "take out the enemy outpost and any Raider vessels defending and then use the Civilian Data Analyzer to Hack any data storage devices inside the facility". I've killed the one Raider, destroyed the Towers and Walls surrounding the Data Storage Device.

My problem is that I can't hack the Data Storage Device. I've tried using the Civilian Data Analyzer given me and now even with a Data Analyzer II (I have Hacking at level 5). The Data Analyzer just runs on and on and on and when I close the screen it says "system hack failed". I've re-logged and still no luck. At some point I did see a message saying something to the effect that the site was too complex to be analyzed.

Is there an enemy outpost that I'm missing in lieu of the structure I've destroyed surrounding the Data Storage Device? I see nothing else besides wrecks, depleted station battery and dysfunctional solar harvester.

Any help would be appreciated.....

Try googling Eve-survival, theres a walkthrough + lots of hints and tips.

I've Googled everything, watched videos etc. Ultimately the Data Analyzer won't hack the Data Storage Device in the mission, regardless how long I let it cycle. And Eve Survival doesn't have Balancing the Books because it's a Career Agent Mission, I guess.

Are you able to hack any other type of can? If so, I would petition it as a bug.



If not, please check the taskbar (usually located on the left side of your screen) to ensure the hacking window is not minimized. It seems you once managed to fail it, though, so maybe it's invisible? **** if I know. Petition if you can't get it working.
