New Wrecks for Every Ship in the Game?

After having finished reading the blog regarding the new wreck creation system, I was imagining the prospect of other ships in Eve having wrecks created with these tools. I would like to see every ship in the game with these new wrecks and think it would definitely worthy of the development time, as wrecks still look pretty bad for most the ships that we regularly blow up.

I was wondering if there is any prospect of this happening and are any more redesigned wrecks designed for the next expansion?

Plus I should also say an excellent job by CCP on the new wreck creation tools, they look impressive to say the least.

To be honest I'm fine with how the wrecks all look right now. White and yellow triangles.

Your post makes no sense and your signature is still wrong.
They should ban you just for that...

edit: seems I caught your double post.

you said something along the line of "think about what this would do to the server". No wonder you removed it... it was stupid. Like your signature.

Which is technological progress. Hardware. And has nothing to do with it. Try a proper analogy! :)

*sighs* finally coffee.

I promise you that you WILL get new wrecks. It's guaranteed to happen eventually.
5he big question is... what for? Multiple dozens of wrecks in space..m all just tiny little brackets.
You'll look at them a few times and that's that. The capital wrecks, at least, can be seen even when zoomed out.

Theyre just doing the capital wrecks for now.

Im sure that some time down the road they'll do battleship wrecks, then work down the classes until there are unique wrecks for all the ships and rat wrecks.

I think if a minmatar ship is destroyed, instead of a wreck, there should be 2 smaller minmatar ships.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Why? For the same reason as V3ing the stations or overhauling the crucifier. Because pretty does matter.

Without the graphical input keeping it looking polished and shiny and modern, EVE would still look much as it did in 2003, and I guarantee you that it wouldn't have as many players. Content takes you a long way - people still play old 8-bit classics, after all - but if you're trying to attract people who don't know anything about the game and who won't be willing to do the research until after they've started playing, then modern glitzy graphics are a major part of the sell.

more pretty = more players = more targets = more loot.

I'd rather random NPC battles you can take part in.

They drop loot and are unadvertised so if you happen to be there well done and if not better luck next time

I'm sure it will happen eventually. From what I read I gathered that the newly created tool is perfectly capable of taking any ship model and wrecking it appropriately. Queue up a few down jobs and whammo! Now push it in the next update an new wrecks. No reason to change the white/yellow/blue traingles. That's just the bracket overlay.

I actually mentioned this to the Art department during the CSM winter summit. There's a lot of players who spend a lot of time looking at wrecks, and getting at least racial variants of the NPC wrecks would put some variety into a very monotonous part of the game.

They have the tool to make wrecks easily now, it'd be a shame not to use it. But they also need to make the camera stay on exploding ships so you can see the fireworks, and then see the shiny new wreck in the aftermath.

So seriously, because in the future Dust mercs will fight on the wrecks to get us our loot.

Well, no I just made that up, but would be cool.

I would be a hell of a lot more interested in wrecks if they were dynamic, like advertised two years ago.
