Character transfer question

I have 2 characters on this account, but now I want to play both at the same time. Can I create a new account and move one of the characters to it, without making a new character in the new account?

Yes you can create a new account and yes you can transfer a character. However, if I remember correctly, it requires you to make a new character when you start an account. Just make any old character (maybe an ugly one so you don't get attached) and then biomass them after you transfer your existing character.

Unless someone else knows a better way.

Note that there is a one-time fee for transferring a character. I believe it is either 2 plex or 20 USD.

This is correct and also keep in mind that the character being transfered has to be in an NPC corp.
