Does anyone know when the CFO of CONCORD is available for an interview

Since there are a lot of ship changes going on and a large quantity of all our ships have been changed so far all of the production cost went up a bit (close to 100%).

I have tried to reach the CFO of CONCORD for an interview but I was told that he wasn't available any time soon.

Just my luck so it seems.

The only question I wanted to ask him is, what he made with all the money he got from the ship insurance since they all cover only close to 50% of the changed boats?

And for the Deus Ex Machina I would ask, when can we expect to insure a boat to 100%?

Does anyone else find it not so cool that you have to pay an insurance that covers 0.5 boat?

Well they're not spending it on rebuilding stations it seems unlike Ishukone :P

Hes currently writing a press release to answer all your questions while under full Tidi. It should be released next year as long as he doesn't run spell check.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

CONCORD isn't responsible for insurance payouts. Pend Insurance is.

My sources say the CFO laughed at your 100% payback idea.

You should count yourself lucky to get any payout at all when you willingly take these ships into hostile environments and get shot at!

Not sure how to feel about my CEO supporting such blatant policies of ship spinnging encouragement...

If you really want to be upset about something: how about the insurance payouts for T2 ships when compared to their T1 red-headed stepchildren.

Concord doesn't handle insurance. Pend Insurance, of the Gallente Federation does. The CEO of Pend, the guy you want to talk to, is a guy named Cloo Pend.

However, he's not taking appointments right now, on account of his being an NPC.

Most capsuleers have doubts that Pend Insurance is a profitable business. Especially as Pend offers insurance payouts to pilots for uninsured ships.

Might have to wait on that interview - Their last one's still getting cleaned off the sidewalk after B-R5RB.

Ship insurance is the biggest Ponzi scheme in the galaxy. Which is why you're having trouble finding the CFO of Pend Insurance.

The last thing this game needs is higher insurance payouts causing even more inflation.

Higher insurance payouts would lead to 1 billion ISK PLEX very quickly.

There was a back room deal between Pend and certain influential persons with interests in the mining industry. It happened not long after miner ganking became a popular pastime.

I knew it!

First embezzeling money and now he skipped town.

And no way higher insurance leats to more inflation because you loose isk anyway. First you have to pay the insurance which cost isk and if you loose your boat, you loose what is on your boat.

Let's say a battleship cost 160 million isk. The premium insurance cost 40 million isk. If you loose your boat the insurance would cover 160 million isk, not 200 million and what you get back for your 40 million investment is 120 million.

So insurance will destroy isk every time you pay the insurance since you pay a station, not another player or in that case falling for that Ponzie scheme.
