so today I decided I wud sell all my stuff by a mining ship and just drift from system to system, mineing, refining, and selling what I get. has anyone done this before? is it feasible? or did just paint a big crosshair on my hull?

You seem to suggest you are mining more than you need. Going from system to system depleting all our precious natural resources is a crime against the Code.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Sure you can do it. Although I think its the kind of thing better attemped with a few accounts, then you have a proper nomad fleet with storage/boosts from the orca and some actual roid crunching power. But if you want to fly around in a solo retriever/mackinaw, then nothings stooping you.

Be expecting to be extorted for about 10 million by a bounch of dorks spouting nonsense about some "New Order" as hosted by Beaver 957 or anyone else mentioning anything about a "Code". They will bump you until you either pay them 10 Million or decide that the procurer/venture you are in is too tempting a target to resist and unleashing all the destructive potential of their small weapons that they have mounted to destroyers. Once you are dead they will congratulate themselves on a job well done in the name of that dude that seems to get them going.
