It may be a bug between your software and the driver, and possibly a mismatch in their specifications for all I know, but I'd like to confirm that it's not a bug in the driver itself independent of eve. To be blunt, you guys broke something yesterday, not AMD.

Eve was working fine yesterday, and has been for the last fortnight. By coincidence, I ran an ultra-setting bioshock infinite benchmark yesterday.

This machine was build brand new from components a fortnight ago. The version of eve running here has been patched only once. It was installed from whole cloth via your downloader two weeks ago, so it too is fresh.

Today, the graphics driver is crashing, but *only* when eve is open and I am undocked doing things.

I mostly crash around stargates, but I have had a crash in a wormhole gas site.

The number of things around does not seem to be a factor, I've been docking and undocking from jita all day, never had a crash on the undock, only on stargates and that one gas site.
I agree with S S.

This isn't an ATI driver bug. Its CCP made bug.

My system hasn't change in 4 years. I'm runing my archaic Intel Core 2 Q9550 mobo on Nforce 790i With Primary radeon HD 5800 and secondary Geforce GTX280 Modded. 8gigs ram. I've been playing eve for about 3 years never an issue. Few graphic glitches when you first brought out the new captains quarters back in the day but those where resolved ages ago.

Other games I play are Skyrim uber modded, X rebirth, Mass effect series/ Metro Last Light / Payday2/ Outlast. they work flawless.

Yesterday your Rubicon patch using DX11 for ATI doesn't work right. I've been fortunate with DX9 and haven't had any issues yet. Oh yes I am using all latest drivers fyi.

I'm am planning to upgrade this summer.. New DDR5 Ram and the new cpu/Gpu's from AMD looks promising.

This is also happening to me. In both CrossfireX and single card mode. Oddly enough it seems to only happen when I am near a stargate in Jita. DX9 mode or turning all the graphics options down seems to fix it. I am running 2x ATI Radeon 5770's on 64 bit Windows 7 and my system hasn't changed in about 3 years.

I'm running DX9 right now, have just turned a number of effects off.

I think that the devs themselves don't have full control over how much testing time is allotted, but the decision-makers really need to re-evaluate their criteria for when a change is ready for general release. CCP Hillmar, ultimately it flows from and returns to you, I suppose. Are there some pressures and incentive/disincentives that are causing bad decisions to be forced?

Just adding to the list, my display driver stops responding 100 percent of the time as soon as I log in and my ship pops up. I have a Radeon HD 7870, Windows 7 64 bit, 8 gigs RAM, blah blah standard stuff.. I have no idea how to run the game in DX9 as the POS launcher literally has never worked for me the entire time Ive played EVE. The launcher always says it has stopped working and needs to close as soon as I open it. I have tried reinstalling EVE multiple times and repairing and it doesnt fix it, Ive done everything CCP told me to do but eventually they gave up and closed my ticket lol. But I guess thats a separate issue. Anyway yea, chalk another one up to the incessant patching I mean seriously 1.03 GB worth of **** I will never notice. The game was FINE, it always is. STOP patching it all the damn time. Since the launcher doesnt work I have to ctrl alt delete and use the repair tool every time it updates. Anyway yea, rather annoyed atm. Sorry for my tone.

Only issue I ever have, even after this Rubicon 1.1 update is I get a slight tear every now and again when in an anomalies and there are lots of 'clouds' around and I'm zoomed in. Only happens for a split second though.

I'm running everything maxed. The only thing I have turned off is camera shake 'cos it makes me feel sick when warping.

Also running in DX11 mode.

I use 2 instances of EVE to run 2 accounts on 1 PC with 2 monitors (1x 27" 1x 22"), and they work fine.

Strange huh...

I set my ingame graphics settings to predefined performance. It looks bad, but stops the crashing.

Same here since this mornings 1.1.x update. Frequently happens after doing a jump through a gate, but other times as well if logging back in after one of those crashes.

Dual ATI Raedon 7800s running in single mode.

No problems other than Eve and only since 1.1

Managed to reproduce it with logserver active.

Any point of me sending it in if you can reproduce it locally?

Dx11 and ATI/AMD GPU that is (win7/6570)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

You guys are lucky that it's just crashing the game. When I try launch I get the BSOD and have to restart my whole computer.

no longer able to log in after trying to jump through stargate. display driver crashes every time. my other account is jumping around/ doing missions just fine with no crashes. issue with just that stargate type or caldari space or something?
