Eve crashing with Display adapter error

Every time I open Eve since updating to 1.1, my AMD display adapter stops working ad Eve hangs. Was fine an hour or so ago before update

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes same thing here with dual ati 5770 gpus.

I got it fixed by going to Options>Direct X in launcher and setting it to DX9 instead of DX11

Same thing, hd6970 crashing the driver upon flying in space to gates/wh/stations. have to close my game client down as it just hangs the whole eve client.

Was fine before downtime and new patch.

Got ati hd 7970
last drivers

The only way to workaround is to set evrything to minimal graphic quality ,

need to fix it pls

Yes mine too is hanging whilst at a gate.

I've found a workaround by disabling all effects and switching to lowest graphic settings. It now loads at least.

ATI 7770 here.. Same problem i couldn't even log in.

But putting the launcher back with DX9 seems to have worked for now

Can confirm this as I'm having the same issue.
Login in the middle of some system, start warp to station and it crashes as soon as the station appears on the screen.

Issue started after patching.
Running hd6950s in xfire config.
Seems like an ATI issue.

Same issue was going around with test server and its updates..

Switching to DX9 will make game 100% playable again...

It pays off to join test server every now and then eh?

Yup, AMD card here too, crashes. Latest driver ofc. Yay, bugs! Will try out dx9, seems to work.

As a temporary fix, switching to DX9 should prevent these driver crashes.

The DX team is digging into the issues and should have results soon.

Change your DX setting in the launcher setting menu (tiny cog in the upper right, then select the far right tab).

The DX team should have a solution soon.

dx9 or dx11 doesnt matter , crashes in space , amd r9 270x latest drivers Ugh
