Eveeye Maps ( Screenshots )
is a 2D interactive and customizable map system which got released in an alpha version to gather feedback on more features to come.

Alpha Version
This means that there will be bugs and that some things might behave strange or do not work at all. That said it should work very well for basic map viewing and own location tracking ingame and out-of-game.

Ingame Usage
EEm interactive map system is used ingame via an installable version (windows only for now, sry) download.
View this screenshot on how it looks in game. Basically it is an always-on-top window you can integrate within your UI.

Bugs & Feedback
Out-of-game at bottom left there is a blue bubble which can be used to report bugs or send suggestions.

It's good, but I'd like a full-size map. The in-game one is OK, but I like to have a full overview of the universe, just to absorb the information better, in terms of "the big picture".

I'm still waiting on an occulus rift compatible map.

Add in leap motion or kinect controls.

Sci-fi up in this biznitch.

Back on topic, looks interesting.

Never have understood why the in-game map view and planet view have to be full screen rather than windowed.

This seems to overcome that limitation and add heaps more functionality. Looks interesting.

Congrats on not including the licenses for node-webkit, and chromium. Totally violating them by not including them in the package.

Did that make you feel better?

You could have just pointed out that they weren't included and suggest that he do so, instead of being a ****.

I haven't followed up your tool in such a long time. Good to see you're still working on it. Nice job.

Obviously not a forum / spy / market alt ...

Cheers! Links in my initial post were outdated here and there. The installable version can be downloaded here. That one has a "Always on Top" option. Only supports Windows atm i am afraid though.

The only thing run in the IGB is the location syncing backend. The maps themselves won't work there.
There is an overlay version that is installable (link in post above) on Windows OS that is meant for ingame use.
To sync your location you would visit https://maps.eveeye.com/ in ingame browser and follow the steps there.
If you already authenticated a char with eveeye ingame you can visit https://maps.eveeye.com/sync/ in IGB to sync.
Syncing is currently disabled though. it will be up again soon.
