Hi there!

I got a Capital Nanobot Accelerator II this afternoon through exploration.

I checked Eve central but there are no sellers so it is kinda hard to estimate its value. I checked the production cost and that is roughly 700 milion ISK.

I know I can add a percentage but I do not want to be to high or low.

I would appreciate your estimates of the value.

Thanks in advance!

PS, this is not an auction but if someone makes a nice offer I am wiling to sell of course.

Thanks for your reply!

I am not sure what you mean though...

If you are asking me whether I checked eve central, then yes, I stated that already.

Could you clarify your post?

If there is a low demand for these, then whatever demand exists can probably be filled by the 2-run ME 0 bpcs found from archaeology. Doubtful that they're worth inventing and building with higher waste than that. Armor triage carriers fit dual reps and want excess capacitor anyway, these rigs are highly expensive and very situational.

Buying the components at Jita Buy prices, assuming a -4 ME BPC (invention-level stuff), and even allowing for a small premium over the Buy price, I get the manufacturing costs to be around 510M.

From my experience of rigs, mark-ups are typically around 20% for commonly used rigs. T2 mark-ups are not dissimilar. As this is likely to be a slow-moving understocked item, you could stretch the markup to 50% I guess, so your production estimate of 700M isn't far off.

Your problem is getting someone to buy it, not valuing the item.

Thank you both for your answers!

I guess I will hang on to the BPC. Maybe there will be some demand later.

Probably not to be honest.

I'd be tempted to manufacture and try to sell now, or at least flog the BPC to someone. Realistically, this module isn't getting plugged into anything other than a Titan or Mom. I don't know the first thing about fitting capital ships, so the item may even be useless in the grand scheme of things.

I'd contact some of the larger alliances and set up a private sale, as people building these ships probably already have access to the BPC's required.

Its pretty much crap, caps fit either trimarks/extenders or cccs (memory cells in rare cases). Pretty much none of the others except a few of the gunnery rigs on dreads and cargo rigs on rorquals are used.

noone ever bough them in jita... and i dont see why would anyone use them... most of the new t1 capital sized rigs bpc's are just a CCP's troll

The vast majority of capital rigs are completely useless on capitals.

Capacitor and HP increasing rigs are easy sells. Damage and tracking rigs are harder to sell. Cargo are very hard to sell. The rest are pretty much trash.
