Missile Abaddon t2 version as a new boat?

It seems that every class of amarr ships have a dedicated missile boat as a counterpart to the tech 2 laser platforms.
Frigate: Retribution - Vengance
Destroyer: Coercer - Heretic
Cruiser: Zealot - sacrilege
Battlecruiser: Damnation - Absolution
Battleship: Paladin - ?

Why not make a nice missile ship with the abaddon hull with the grey/blue color scheme.
It is one of the nicest looking hulls around and IMO there should be a sweet t2 version of that.

Another marauder?
Logistics, Commands, Dictor?

I don't see what's left, maybe an capital as these tier3 BS are heavy ships of the line.

Oh and please no more Amarr Heretic Missile boat, the paint job is nice but it feel wrong to have a weapon system appearing from nowhere just on t2 hulls.

Not another marauder but maybe a heavy assault battleship that matches a paladin with firepower (but done with guns or missiles)
Not being able to fit bastion modules because the hull is a pretty good tank off the shelf.

Faster, less utility highs, less bastion modules, less tractor beam bonuses, 50% MWD sig, extra cap recharge, T2 resists.

It would be nice to have some more battlship hulls. But a more nimble damage platform is really the role that the Tier 3 battlecruisers are filling. I would argue that they should continue in that role.

I would agree that the Maurader is not really an assault ship, with bastion mode it makes a great anchor for whatever you happen to be doing - however mobility is NOT their strong suit (MJD bonus is nice but doesn't make the ship any more nimble).

That's not really a fair assumption though - because Caldari have Missile/Rail everything and their maurader is missile based and rail kinda gets nada. Same with Gallente no T2 drone boat.

I think we'll need to play a little bit of wait and see until after they hit black-ops to see if there is a role that still needs to be filled.

The t3 bc are nice and versatile but they rly have all their roles covered. They can never fit the role of a t2 missile abaddon HABS. heavy assault battleship. Which amarr is missing IMO looking at other ships that do offer a missile platform on the amarr side.

Haven't looked into it but my best guess is that every race has their own ships that take a side track from the obvious training (like missile boats on amarr) and they should make a t2 HABS for them as well.
I'll be happy just as long as they use the abaddon hull because we've got enough bananas and dild oos already.

The inconsistency is that they are started adding a bunch of T1 Drone boats for Amarr, not that they have had T2 missile boats. If your complaint was that the T1 drone boats should be changed to missiles I would agree fully. The lore for the Khanid boats has been around for ages.

I was pretty disappointed CCP developed a silly drone fetish during the rebalance. T1 missile boats made much more sense.
