By the way, none of those losses occurred to my Freighter since I never bought one yet.

All of those losses occurred in industrial, "Itty V", and Transport ships, whether BR or DST.

Regardless, I am more concerned about the financial aspect of the collateral.
I am concerned about how I will get the collateral back.
I am concerned about if I will get the collateral back from piracy.
I am concerned about if I will have to get the collateral back by Bounty Hunting.
I am concerned about if I will have to trade on the Character Bazaar due to time constraints.

And I am also concerned about how I will be able to get the collateral back from piracy.
(Which collateral I lost due to piracy, as other player pirates attacked me.)

Lately, I started to loose some assets due to other causes but it allowed me to improve Covert Warfare.
I have a 500 dps bomber and a Force Recon available, before I get my first Black Ops.

Btw, due to grouping issues, and until I fly my fleet, I will not be adding new details related to Piracy.
Flying a fleet with a fleet commander does not solve the Group Issue 100%.
However, it is more efficient than flying or accomplishing Group related activities while being solo.

Just yesterday, after an investment of over 2 weeks of work (over 2 months in fact), my 2nd cane got popped.
To make matters worst, I couldn't eject my ship and save my pod.

The program stated:
"External factors are preventing your warp drive from responding to this command."
this while pressing Eject from ship.

Regardless, I had Clone Jumped before and Upgraded my Clone after Self-Destruct.
My pod pilot having no implants lost 0 ISK from being podded, with a fresh clone in a good place.

It also occurred after a loan offer was cancelled following written problems, opportunity or related to publishing.
This following another cane that was destroyed 2 days 1 hour before that cancellation, after the 2nd one shipment.


This set me back from 4 days to over a week to test what I was told could earn me profit.
The problem is not piracy, but due to grouping requirements to protect against attack.
BH in null sec requires a much better ship or even a scout or more.

So far, my costs were 42m x2 -37m x2 insurance = 10m except fitting costs minus loot delivery.
And I got intel on who hits me, and a kill right (1st in high sec).



Some notes about the legit write for (ingame) ISK program offer...
I will have to verify the text from ccp explaining the legitimacy and boundaries of the act.

I believe it can be legal if done right and properly while respecting the IP rights of the entities involved.

I am looking for it for over 2 hours and can't find anything else but the 3 above references.

I saw my frozen corpse in space showing up on my d-scan, however, it wasn't near any gates.
I didn't self-destruct there that I recall.
