I'v recently started playing EVE once more after reactivating this 1 month old account again and still pretty new to the game so I come and ask if their are any well known corps that accept newbs to teach them the ways of new eden.

Most of the time I spend doing security mission trying to earn isk, but recently its been getting frustrating trying to do things on my own, also this starter corp isn't newb friendly more of ego players posting what he or she did in null sec, so are there any well known corps looking to teach players how to have fun in EVE even if it means dieing a few times in low sec?Big smile

I will just leave this here as looking at New Citizen resources and following a link isnt on the typical players "to do" list:

Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

That's a very good guide that J'poll posted. Best of luck OP in finding a corp that suits you.

EvE University exists entirely for people like yourself, Mr.Dallocort.

And no, that wasn't a recruitment plug. As you can see, I don't work for them. I simply endorse what they do.

You can also search for corp advertisements. There is a new player friendly box that recruiting corps can check.

I would talk to whoever the recruiter is for a while and get to know the members in whatever their 'pub' chat is before you join a corp.

On thing nobody has touched on is that you need to decide WHAT exactly it is do you want to do. Don't let SP hold you back TOO much. A lot of the forum based "You need optimal Fit XXX" type stuff is really more about "optimal" than "works okay enough to get by right now".

Basically it'll be easier to find a corp if you know what you want to do. If you want to PVP a PVP training corp can help you get yourself in order. If you want to mine, find an indy corp, etc.

If you just want "fun" I'd got the PVP route. Any corp that accepts new players worth anything will help you get started, actually take you PVPing, have some people on hand that can help you learn to survive, etc. If you're not getting that move on. If you're the only on one in your corp days at a time move on.

Every day I'm wafflin!
