Dear OP, thank you very much for your persistence in this matter. Your constant whining, unending flow of tears and plain ignorance reminds me why this game is so great and why I love it.

Your shift from threats and blackmailing to "negotiating" is really amusing.
Also your claim that because you didnt know there is a policy it shouldnt apply to you has to make most people laugh.

There cant be a numerical definition of a "large scale" engagement because it would clearly cause people whine even more if there was +1/-1 person present but everyone clearly understands what CCP means.

Also, may I have yor stuff when you unsub as promised?
Oh, never mind, you have already lost it all...

She's *********** (what?) anyway, so if she and the others quit as promised it would actually be an improvement!

What is Eve's #1 Rule?

DON'T FLY WHAT YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE

Yeah the flight being laggy as hell must have sucked, but these are part of the risks involved when staging a such super-massive scale fleet fight.

And the reason why ships in such fleet fights should never be reimbursed is very simple: If you get your ships back, the next time a fleet fight happens (which are always somewhat laggy) some idiot will scream "Hey TIDI was 50%, give me back my ship, you did it for the last fleetfight too and this was as laggy as that one !!!!111One!!"

Anyhow, can't we all just collectively report her and request a ban?

CCP is pretty inconsistent with their own rules. They recently reimbursed a supercarrier that bugged while attempting to jump out.

Seriously?
That SC died because of a BUG involving smartbombs, not lag.
But what else can one expect from a Goon than spinning, mockery when things go their way and rivers of tears when they dont.
Try harder and please cry more P

All the same, CCP's reimbursement policy explicitly says that they don't reimburse in large fleet engagements for anything.
In that scenario they broke that policy.
It shouldn't have been reimbursed any more than our capitals in HED-GP.

Typical goon density, there is a difference between a bug which was verified and reproduced and a lack of understanding of tidi and server mechanics resulting in stupidity. I sometimes wonder how you guys even find your own arses, I am pretty sure for a great many of you its difficult without someone telling you where it is since you seem to be too dense to think on your own.

You know apples and oranges but hey its goons what do you expect, 10k+ people only able to F1 ah right even that is too difficult now hence the domis and the drone assign. Funny thing you might even had killed some stuff if you had controlled your drones by yourself in HED like other people did.

There were a dozen methods taking the server/node situation into account to get your caps into the system and ensure they would load grid you chose the worst, the method every nullsec dweller should have had its doubts about if it was a good decision to jump 700 caps onto an already straining grid. But hey keep spinning, keep making morons out of yourself. You filled so many buckets of delicious tears for so many people its really amusing.

Now blaming CCP for being an idiot yourself is even more amusing. Blame your moron of an FC not CCP.
But go on create more threads let the river of tears swell so it might put the Styx to shame!

Well ... I, for one ... reported the OP and requested a ban.

Complaining isn't enough. Report the post, ask for a ban!

You assume FC and higher ups know what they are doig, that is why you follow their orders.

I assume they knew what they were doing and the possible results . . . but they decided to go ahead and do it anyways.

There is a price for that and the line members paid it, or the SRP did (if the fleet had one)

No, I do not support your request.

I followed the FC's orders. They are almighty and on equal footing with Jesus. This means that even though I undocked and planned for a fight, because I got blown up I should get reimbursed.

From my understanding there is no such thing as an official coalition in EVE. It is a meta state invented by the players and not officially sanctioned by CCP - that I know of.

I would like to see this as a new official mechanic in EVE to officially recognize larger forms of player organizations.

CCP should only be dealing with alliance leaders separately unless they officially recognize the coalition as a proper unit of organization above the alliance.

Of any kind.
So I'm confused as to why you're arguing so vehemently against me when I'm also saying that we shouldn't be reimbursed under this policy.
My point is, he shouldn't have been either. The policy doesn't say "except when there's a bug", it says "any losses of any kind resulting from a large-scale player engagement are not covered".

The larger point is, if CCP never reimbursed in these cases instead of continuously breaking their own rules, they wouldn't have gotten so many reimbursement requests in the first place because most people involved would have known better.

It's because GMs are so inconsistent about this that we have this issue in the first place.

We also wouldn't get threads like this because it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone that they don't reimburse.

Rule No. 1 of PvP

- You lost your ship when you undocked. Don't fly what you can't afford to lose.

You should have known what you were flying into and expected such lag. It's no ones fault but your own. Either get over it or keep QQ'ing.

I don't mind the tears though :)
