I like to build stuff from the ground up, mining the raw mins myself. I can't personally do the moon goo reactions, but if I could, I would. The entire production chain. When you build stuff, knowing you've got absolutely top dollar for your investment with no middle men taking a cut, it does feel good. But if it's about raw ISK it's probably better to buy plex, yes.

Just to reiterate, this works at first but as you move into serious production you spend too much time mining and depending on what you are producing (tech 2 large projectile guns are a great example but ships are even worse) you won't be able to mine enough to supply a ten slot production schedule. You'll eventually have to put up buy orders. But it isn't the end of the world, as miners work very cheap and you can exploit them in many areas of the universe.

Once you can support production, look into tech 2 ship production. You'll need a set of well researched component blueprints and an account with good invention skills to invent the Tech 2 BPCs. With two accounts you can easily turn out 50 tech 2 frigates a week and that can be a solid 200-300M gain on an investment of 600-700M in raw materials. Fair warning, it is a click fest and takes some management to get the most out of your time but nothing is profitable in industry in Eve unless the barrier to entry is high either in time, capital or number of accounts required. If it is easy, some clown is already doing it and selling the end product for little gain.

Hello,

With a power of two, I have now 5 month paid on my second account.
I can easily login every hour or two, but I rarely got 6 hours in front of me to farm "online".

My wish is an activity that can earn around 500m - 1b per month, that can be trained in less than 5 months and that do not need 6 hours per day connected. Is that completely impossible ?

Right now, I set up the next skill plan in order to manufacture T2 Drone (Hob and warrior).

Does this plan can get me to my goal ? Can this plan start making me some money before the end on the training ?

Thanks all for your advice.

Drop these; you wont need them unless your doing ship invention. The increased chance gained is minimal and should only be trained when you have nothing else to train.
Mechanical Engineering V (17 days, 10 hours, 8 minutes, 41 seconds)
Electronic Engineering V (17 days, 10 hours, 8 minutes, 41 seconds)

Also you should consider training the 2 additional characters on your account and use these for your copy alts (roughly 10-14 days training time). This will keep a descent supply of BPC's being made.

You will also be better off setting up a POS to do the ME/PE research for your BPO's that will be used for the T1 item required in manufacturing. You can also get much better times in manufacturing/research which is always a good thing.

Also make sure you use isk per hour to check if what you are manufacturing is profitable.

Finally training all characters on your accounts for PI can help decrease the costs of manufacturing goods and save you time having to update buy orders and haul from trade hubs.

Hi Sallem,

I have not read through ever single post here so please bare wit me if I make a "repost" of some sort.

First thing you need to consider sallem is to get a POS, get a friend with standing to make the corp and then leave it so that you can set up your tower or something, this will help you with copies and invention slots.

I saw that people wrote that it is not possible to make this kind of money with manufacturing, don't listen to that as it is complete bullshit. With enough research you can easily make 2-4 bill a month with 2 invention toons. probably more with ME research.

Id suggest not getting any of the engineering and physic skils to lvl 4, for now as they wont be needed, for most items that you invent you can easily use meta 4 items to increase that chance to succeed your invention jobs.
Get those skills later!

Same goes for scientific networking and supply chain management, these are skills that you wanna put in the far back of your skill queue, get prod efficiency and mass prod first so that you can start earning money fast!

I would suggest that you start inventing t2 ammo and such, as that will leave you with with around 1.2bill in profit every month and you only need to check the manufacturing queue once a week and get 7x2 bpc within that time, very little effort to be able to pay for those plexes.

Then of course you can spend much more time and invent at east 5-8 batches a day and make 150% profit items that only takes 12 hours to make, but way more work required.

Later you when you get a steady cash flow you should think of getting more toons working, as the more toons you have the more you can invent and manufacture and the money will be endless!
Also think of getting a trading toon with sufficient standings so that you can sell at minimal taxes.
Hope it helped!
