Eve Launcher Crashes my Computer!!!! Help!!!!

Why is eve the only game to crash my computer its a brand new computer!!!! It says video TDR failure!!!!

I think that error occurs with Windows 8 a fair bit, updating video drivers may help, no idea.

One possibility is the current launcher is testing DX11 and defaults to D11 instead of DX9 however I think you need to get the launcher to the login screen to change that setting.

Found the fix to launcher crash video_TDR_failure I went into Nvidia control panel to select a PhysX processor: and set it for my video card. I also set my power to high performance.

I think the crash is a forced off-and-on again. Windows 8 takes tech support to the level of militant automation.

I'd suggest you file a petition to CCP.

When you do, be as descriptive as possible. Up to and including all Hardware/software info, versions of drivers and the launcher.

Making a thread in GD won't get you too far...

No, CCP doesn't do customer service anymore, you have to contact your alliance leader so they can contact customer supportRoll

It works daily for Tens of thousands of users, maybe even a couple ~tinfoil. I think the problem is with your PC not the launcher.
