Just a though, wondering if ccp consider how they can apply current astrology and space research to eve. See following post:

If you read further down it says about dark matter galaxy’s, just wondering if this could be put into play into wormhole space systems and other things, exploration, science, dark matter clouds… blah blah.

Discuss? Big smile

Dark matter is already there. I constantly bump into invisible stuff.

EDIT:
An argument could be made that the miners represent the dark matter in EVE (weak/negligible interaction)

as·trol·o·gy [uh-strol-uh-jee]

noun
the study that assumes and attempts to interpret the influence of the heavenly bodies on human affairs.

as·tron·o·my [uh-stron-uh-mee]

noun
the science that deals with the material universe beyond the earth's atmosphere.

Both have no place in a fictional fluid universe space submarine game.

Isn't dark matter the stuff that slows your ship down when you switch the engines off and stops you continuing to accelerate forever while the engines are on?

Saying astrology when you mean astronomy is one of the quickest ways I can think of to identify yourself as an idiot.

I told someone once that I was interested in cosmology and they said "ewww, you want to work with people's hair?"
I just stared.

I thought that question had already been answered by another thread, where everyone agreed that it was "magic" that did that.

A few years ago I went back to university and started studying physics and astronomy part time, just for fun and out of interest in the topic.

After a year I stopped telling people about the astronomy part because I rather got the "what that boring **** about forces and friction?" reaction about physics than the "what like this guys that write horoscopes?" about astronomy. People can't tell the difference.

Then I had to explain to an now ex girlfriend that a shooting star isn't actually a star that falls down to earth. That's when I finally lost my last respect for humanity.

This days I just bump miners. Because I'm bitter.

End of story

A friend of mine worked for a telephone service thing, where you could call and get the time, the weather forecast, etc. My friend's job was to record the joke of the day and the horoscopes. Both of which he had to just make up on his own. With no training in comedy or astrology.
Moral: Might not be a good idea to believe today's horoscope.

I've had that exact same issue...

Sometimes, I want to just curl up in a ball and weep for humanity... Then I realise that some people just cant help being stupid...

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Ah, they used the "it's magic, you wouldn't understand" gambit. Smooth.

Nope, definitely dark matter, probably making a mess all over our shields.

Education. Period.

Isn't it fascinating how many of the 1%'ers have stepped up to fund education (after Reagan decided that they would), after they got all their huge tax cuts ????

These are the consequences 30 years later. Fun, ain't it ?

Ironically, one would more associate them with astrology Lol

Great band. Saw twice in the early 80s.

Since this thread is now about stupid ex-girlfriends:

I was seeing a girl for a few weeks, before she let her stupid show.

I was stunned, isn't basic ecology a third-grade subject?
