GTA V for PC, and The Witcher 3 are my most anticipated. The Division looks promising, but it's been delayed apparently (?). The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is what I'm most looking forward to, but there's no release date yet.

I'll probably also try a few new MMOs, play them for a month, then never touch them again (looking at you Elder Scrolls).

the EVE expansion where I get to WiS with 10+ characters and ... hopefully there is a "follow" option. rainfleet becomes the raintrain. also the expansion/point release that includes that 10 year vet station so i can sit in it with the only other players in the game who care about 10+ year old characters, and make courier contracts to the station that will most likely fail.

outside of EVE, and to a lesser degree, the Metal Gear franchise, and Fallout. I say to a lesser degree because while I enjoy them thoroughly, you finish those games, eventually. but you never finish EVE.

for me, the magic ingredient in a game is the ability to improve my character's stats for the future. EVE provides that with the longest lifespan of any game I know of, in a steady trickle like a life support IV.

things I wish: that they never killed off commander shepard, and that mechwarrior continued to crank out games despite a lack of innovation the same way battlefield/CoD and all the driving sim franchises.

Dark Souls 2 and Elite first and foremost.

Pillars of Eternity next.

Someone mentioned Transistor, but i'm only interested in that for the soundtrack. ;p

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

I don't see anything interesting in 2014. There will be a lot of cliche games which I'll try just to be sure they are as boring as they seem:

Novus Aeterno - basically it's EVE but you control alliance/fleet instead of single person/ship.

The Edler Scrolls Online. Dead console hardware compatibility makes graphics ugly as hell.

The Repopulation - sandbox using Hero engine which guarantee weak environmental graphics and lack of immersion.

ArcheAge - sandpark where you play either as Korean (Asian) or a cat. It's like hybrid of DAoC and Ultima - without interactiviy of Ultima and without territory control and huge PvP battles of DAoC (I'm in beta test).

Everquest Next - sandbox for children.

Elite: Dangerous - first person view simulator where you have to move your point of view until you see something in the center of screen and then you'll have to pull a trigger to shoot. I won't buy it until they introduce avatar gameplay.

Note: Star Citizen will not be released in 2014. More like spring-15.

I fear the day Rain and Kate get to meet in WiS. Its going to be interesting to say the least. Blink

As for new games.

Still waiting for a new Fallout

Can't think of anything else right now though.

if there is a new dragon age coming out i'll play that. hopefully, it's better than number 2. though I still liked the story of number 2 and the look and atmosphere of it...but the game play was just sort or weird. sort of like witcher series. love the story. combat is pretty much simply tolerated to progress into the plot. lol

yes yes any single-player sandbox by Bethesda, luv them all.
Battlefield series of course, though still my fav has been BF2142, hope the next one will be my fav of the series. It certainly looks nice. I liked the more high-tech of BF2142, and just a blast doing night battles with a Voss L-AR. This next release looks just cray cray.
Other than that, been waiting for Asylum for some time. It's an indy project and in alpha testing at this point. Also the game engine will be offered once the game is released. The demo looks really nice.

I echo the sentiment of many in this thread, no real games from any known devs coming out this year that make it worth my while, honestly I am enjoying Humble Bundle´s packs where I pay 1 dollar for a simple bundle to give copies to several friends in my native poverty ridden country that can´t legally own foreign currencies unless approved by the government.

I must be getting either too old or the current gen market of franchises and overhyped "revolutionary" titles simply no longer appeal to even my most remote need to be entertained.

I get more juice of fun replaying EQ1/LOTRO these days with the occasional drop of Dota2 to satisfy my mainstream gaming needs.

Been reading the title of coming games and I am somewhat piqued by Hotline Miami 2 ...

Honestly, I fear what will happen to me next year, at this rate I will probably stop playing anything, since around 2010 I severely stopped buying known brand games altogether.

Something seems to be missing for me in new games.

Only Indy games seem to get most stuff right these days in terms of fun factor/price/replay value/originality.

I am still waiting in that dept. for Torment2, Wasteland2, Shadowgate, Infinity, Star Citizen of which I am backer via Kickstarter, and they will take a while yet to come out (if at all if you jump in the Star Citizen hate bandwagon so in fad these days).

Pretty dissapointing year for me for gaming, can´t really get excited about anything coming on that I have manged to glimpse.
