DX11 Steam Community + EVE Online

Hi Guys, I am having issues with the steam overlay system with DX11. I have asked for help on the steam forum and was informed that the issue is related to EVE and not steam.

OS: Windows 7 and Windows 8

I have tried the following things

  1. Created EVE Online as a non-steam game
  2. Switched EVE to run on DX09 (Which works with the overlay)
  3. Asked for help on steam. (To no Avail)
  4. Updated the steam client to a beta build.
  5. Filed a ticket with steam support and a bug report with CCP.


Any help with getting this fixed would be great. Have herd this is a long running issue.
