I watched Antichrist last night, I think watching William Dafoe jizzing out blood after being jerked off by his wife before having his **** punched in by firewood is probably more decent than reading your garbage

Tactics. I think what we've learned this morning---evening is that not even the Jita node can handle the largest capital fight ever. We would have to agree on no subcaps, get everybody in, meet in the middle, bubble ourselves and then fight.

Ah well, at least some new deployables are on the way. GF in local Smile

Nothing can handle it I agree.
Stupid DUST and other crap instead of putting 300 people to rewrite the code.

Yeah the fact you jumped all sub first was the cause of the mess. It was rather ok till that happened then your caps literally stoped the whole thing.

We were not able to jump caps in because cyno jammers had to be killed first.

Yup, the vast majority of Eve worked just fine.

As I see it, 7499 out of 7500 systems worked just fine, or close to it.
A few on the same node as HED were not much fun, but passable.

This is not an Eve problem, but a blob-sec problem, created by the cartels.
It is not something CCP should worry about any more than null sec cartels worry about high sec miners being bumped.

This statement must have a DeLorean with a flux capacitor in it, because it first appeared in the distant past and, regardless of the consistency of variables, will appear again throughout the distant future.

Unfortunately this problem (whoever it is) is not fixable for now, like the logout to character screen, or this.

All CCP has to do is buy a damn supercomputer to run the server., and a powerful connection to all major ISP hubs.

How hard can it be, there are old supercomputers out there that research universities would love to get rid of. Yes they are the size of a room, but with unlimited computing power, who cares....

you have not read many dev blogs have you? The server running eve IS a super computer, at one point in time, as i dunno if they have updated this, it was one of the most advanced that ccp could get there hands on. And it still had lag issues. The serve ris not the problem, the code is. Its like you have a flat open highway and you are trying to drive your pinto like a farari. No matter how smooth you make the road, no matter how calm the wind is, no matter how flat and open the road is, your car will NEVER break 100mph or so. hell you could get new technology to make the road have zero resistance, but your pos car will still not go over 100. Thats eve. The code is capped. And needs to be fixed.

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!
