What happened to pilot standings?

I'm just wondering what happened to being able to see other pilot's individual agent standings?

When were they taken away?

e: I think at about the same time we were restricted to having 5 levels of inter-player standings.

CCP mostly sucks at their job, but Veritas is a pretty cool dude.

I guess my next question then, is WHY were they taken away - they were useful for finding out where people hung out!

The standings disappeared in May 2011.
Reason was the load, the standing information produced on the server side.
So to get EvE faster for fights like the one in HED-GP, the standings info had to leave.

So in other words, they were taken so that people can go take showers, make breakfast, send children to daycare, run errands...all while a single module completes it's cycle.

Makes sense.

it was a shame when it was taken away as it gave excellent intel on were you could find people
