Do they stop tractoring wrecks after they are full?

Do they go into a reinforced mode when attacked?

Has anyone successfully use them in place of jet cans for mining?

Can i by pass table tennis?

Not sure. Even If you farm a mission for a week, it would take just over 3800 M^3 a day to fill it completely. I would think it would continue to pull things in, just wont loot from the wrecks if full.

No. Depots will go into 48hr reinforce, but the MTU will not. It just goes poof and leave a can with loot behind.

Haven't tried this, though I'm sure someone has and can vouch for it.

Uh...not quite sure what you mean by the last question. Can you elaborate?

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

So anyone can shoot my 9 mill unit and only get aggression from me while i may or may not be present?

Never managed to fill it up completely... Even L4 Blockades don't test its capacity, so I have no idea.

No, they go boom and leave behind a can.

Yeah... just drop a MTU, jettison ore, and the jet can gets tractored and looted by the MTU. I've been told (by rather hardcore miners) that it is quite an effective way to extend your stay in the 'roid fields.

Nope. There's no effective way to use two MTUs in the same spot. If you put them beyond their respective tractor distance limit, you could avoid it, but I doubt your wrecks would ever be spread out so far.

EDIT:

Yes. People have been using this mechanic to score AFK sentry sniper kills.

more so i wanted to put them in a line so when the first one was full the next would tractor. This would allow me to fill at max a total of 25 MTU's. After which my hauler could easily fit and store them. Why CCP torments me with such ideas of amazement to help out solo miners. Only to burn my dreams with doomsday devices.

The tabel tennis reference is with regards to 2 mtu's fighting over the same wreck and I'm pretty sure they do it purposely to prevent multiple units to prevent the noctis being made redundant.

As for the suspect thing, be dame sure your drones are set to passive if you have any of the new deployable's out. They are something of a conflict driver.
Edit: was going to correct my grammar but decided to show solidarity with my dyslexic brethren.

They keep tractoring wrecks but stop looting. To fill them up, just drop one anywhere capitals die. Or use it to tractor ore from mining ops.

Nope, they just pop. Standard 50% drop chance applies to contents.

Although I don't have any first-hand experience, people have talked about it on the forums. It's certainly one of the ways of doing it. Better than a jetcan, worse than an Orca.

CCP said they will be fixing it in a future patch (MTUs should tractor furthest wrecks first instead of closest).

Nope, shooting a MTU creates a 15 minute suspect timer for the aggressor. This means that anybody can attack them without CONCORD intervention.

No

No

Yes, but they are easy to bait Miners into a Gankable State.

I don't know.

CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them.
