In the latest Thor they had a small gang of cloak fitted Myrmidons.

In the latest Superman there were several Myrmidons flying around krypton prior to it's destruction.

Did CCP open the Myrmidon to public use or ... ?

Thank You Obama!

After seeing the picture posted above i agree they don't really look like the Myrm.

However i would expect EVE players to be invading these films after this article last year

Pod Superman]

So this may be proof that EVE players have found superman now and are on the mission to pod him... and failed as he made it to earthBig smile

I haven't seen Superman, I'm a marvel snob. But I agree with the OP regarding Thor, in fact I noted the same earlier this year EVE is real!

PS. CCP I still want a cloaky Myrmi!

The things we do today we must live with forever.... Think about it

Those ships do look like they drew some inspiration from EVE design.

Yes, because Eve is the first sci-fi setting ever to have flying wing style of ships. These have never been seen on for example in Lost in Space (1998) (hey, doesn't that look kind of familiar?), or Star Wars, B-Wing (1983), and I'm sure people will think of many others, such as Velator - Slave 1 comparison (especially the older model with less pronounced wing).
I'm pretty sure EVE has knowingly or unknowingly borrowed quite a bit of designs or general forms from other settings more than it has been copied.
