Is there a standard reward for courier contracts

I.e. 500k per jump or 1mil per 10k m3.

What is the norm

apart from the above 2 links (both work well).
there is an in game hauler channel and a public courier contract mailing list.
for stuff moving between trade hubs you can often offer lower isk rewards esp if it isn't high volume.
for out of the way routes you sometimes need to offer more.
generally high collateral needs higher rewards and higher rewards usually result in faster movement.
depending on what your needs are public contracts can be much faster or much slower than red frog as well as cheaper /more expensive.
i found having my own freighter is invaluable even if i still often use contractors to move non time sensitive stuff or if i need stuff moved a long way.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

Depends on the volume to move, number of jumps, and whether high or low/null sec.

Presuming it is high sec, anything less than 20k m3 can get moved at like ISK 100k per jump, as long as the collateral is not too high (<50-100m) . Could go as low as 50-70k per jump with low collateral i.e. <20-30m

Higher volume loads, which require more than industrials i.e. freighter category, you need 500k to 1m per jump for low collateral.

The services linked above are damn good, though for high sec work I prefer public contracts. For low/null sec work, black frog rules.

Any colour you like.

I offered 8 million to move 100m3. 10 in high sec, I guessed it was over the odds but I wanted it moved fast. Collateral was 150mil.

Needless to say it was snapped up.

If you need low collateral stuff moved highsec to highsec you always used to be able to get it done for 10k isk, presumably due to courier bots. You can pay peanuts on common routes and short trips if the collateral is low.

I've found a few things

  1. Advertised services are always more expensive
I've yet to have a contract turned down at 250k/j
    Almost never at 200 either
I've undercut the collateral up to about ten percent without anyone pocketing the cargo
I've had it once with a higher cut, after the guy tried to extort me, and I laughed at him

I never tried with full loads however, always little packages.

Also, never expect now. Today is reasonable, now is not

For freighter sized cargo or collateral, once you go under 500k/jump you may end up waiting a long time to get it moved, unless its between major hubs.

I am continually astounded at how cheaply courier contracts get done by useful idiots (sorry, by freighter pilots).
