you're missing my point. I'm well aware that agility helps with slingshotting (although I would argue that, with proper piloting, it's not quite as effective as you're making it out to be). The problems I have with ABs are not so much about their ability to catch kiting ships.

Well yeah, it isnt as effective as I made it out to be because it should be counter-able with good piloting skill. That being said isnt slingshotting *how* you catch kiting ships?

I mean you're never going to be able to catch them by just chasing them down unless you make the AB the same as the MWD. The agility angle to make slingshotting more effective is a great alternative to just being able to outrun your opponent.

I don't really see any 100mn AB Battleships outside of PvE but I really don't see that as an issue that needs fixing. ABs on cruisers are still used in armor doctrines and in dual prop solo boats (Vagabond/Scythe Fleet Isse/Stabber Fleet Issue/Thorax/Vexor).

I think ABs are fine the way they are.
