What is the value of this tool compared to a scout when jumping from system to system?

Also, the screenshots do not work -> 404 File Not Found.

this is a tool to aid the job of the scout.

Oh **** i didnt realise i went and deleted the screenshots like a noob ill make new ones.

for example a scout jumps through, maybe theres 40 ships on the other side? spread across the gate at ranges, instead of listing off different ones, i know some scouts are better than others but taking a quick screenshot which take s a few seconds would help the fc make a good decision and know exactly whats on grid, instead of streaming off lots of shiptypes and ranges over comms. Atleast thats how i forsee the use.

EDIT: Also in multi-timezone/national alliances communication issues from accents are eliminated.

Isn't there a million and 1 other tools already available that provide a solution to this 'problem'. They may not be directly related to Eve but they have a wealth of features and services far beyond this site.

They are also free and unlimited, i'm struggling to see why someone would use this service, specially at 100M Isk/ Month.

Im not trying to be cruel, I just don't see the benefit ?

Their shouldnt be any complaint.
Use of imgur is free for images and has unlimited storage, plus im sure its on the cloud so negligible lag no matter where your from

indeed imgur is a good thing however it doesnt not capture and upload directly from your screen you have to save the image first, atleast this is how i understand it i havnt used it before.

it takes out the hassle of pasting cropping then saving then uploading and streamlines it into a simple case of clicking a button and dragging a box. it even copies the url to your clipboard for you.

EDIT: I looked at imgur a little more and it will upload a screenshot, however it will not do partial screenshots, this is the advantage of this service, im still open to suggestions though about limits and such.

Could you add a DELETE ALL button to the application so I can clear room for more screenshots without opening the web page?

as a user of the original software you mentioned, I must compliment you on the additional functionality you've added.

This is a great tool to use for FC's, skirmishers, scouts, recon pilots. A hundred different uses really from quickly gathering 100% accurate fleet intel to capturing POS intel .

I've used this too in many different roles and i can't live without it. It really is convenient.

My only suggestion is to do a keyboard shortcut for captures like the original. The last thing i want on my screen is the interface to move around my screen like another eve window.

GREAT JOB.

This already seems to exist. You might look at the "HyperDesktop" tool for Imgur:

Hyperdesktop - Screenshot Uploader
by Andy
This tool lets to take screenshots and upload them directly to Imgur. By pressing CTRL+SHIFT+3 a screenshot of your entire desktop will be captured, and uploaded. By pressing CTRL+SHIFT+4, you can choose a specific area of your desktop. You can also access Hyperdesktop from the taskbar.
