It's not the ISP. I was dual-boxing today and one client repeatedly has the socket closed error while the other is just fine.

CCP mostly sucks at their job, but Veritas is a pretty cool dude.

Do a trace route in command prompt to see where the issue is.

For further information
tracert url is the command. i.e. 'tracert www.eveonline.com'
I go via San Jose, New York then London to the servers apparently.

Had problems as well about midnight. Kept loosign connection so was forced to dock.. since PVP on thsoe conditions is suicidal.

As my last post suggests the error was with eve! Repairing the client seems to have resolved for now.
