I'm just over 30m SP. Mostly in mining/industry but also in combat and stealth ships. I mission in a Hyperion with T2 fit.

My current corp was very active before I stopped playing. Now, mostly due to wardecs, they have dispanded and gone to other corporations.

I spent most of my eve career in astroid belts chipping away at space rocks. Now I want to get out and explore the unknown. I have been in a few wormholes but never really got into it. But I would like to join a team based corp that loves to thrive inside a WH.

Any constructive advice for one who is new to WH space is greatly appretiated.

Edit: I was planning on buying an Astero or Stratios and exploring for relics and hack.

There is too much to talk about just in the forums regarding wormhole life but I'll give you a few of what I like about living in a C5/C5 wormhole.

Suicide Express is a PvP wh corp, we look for pew first. We do do cap escalations so we make the isk to fly some nice PvP ships. We also do some gas huffing (helps on POS fuel).

We do a lot of scanning and spying (cloaky 100k off someone's POS or on a wormhole - did this last night looking for a fight, unfortunately the wh corp was a carebear corp...).

We've caught cap's trying to close a wh on both sides (one member of our corp got a orca kill without firing a shot! - self destructed because they were scrammed and could warp out LOL).

our comms are full of fun and the corp has a good time together. I believe this is the main reason I have so much fun in our wh. I have had some of the best times in my 20 years of playing MMO's with these guys.

So, with that said, in order to have a good time not just shooting the bull with us on comms, you're going to need:

Scanning ship - cov op works, cloaky nully t3 is better.

We fly (as do most wh corps) armor for PvP so armor t3's and armor logi (guardian) are also nice to have, don't need both but armor t3's are pretty needed.

Being able to fly shield pvp is also good (I'm trained in both amarr and caldari), when we don't feel like putting full logi on the field (that is sometimes not going to get a fight if the opponent doesn't have numbers, bringing smaller ships with little to no logi might).

If you want to fly a dred or carrier, that works great for both PvE and PvP, but is not necessary. When doing cap esc's we'll use 2 or 3 dreds and carriers with support (falcon, loki, picket, noctis). Read about C5 sleeper sites to see what that is all about. What it does for us is make the isk for corp to pay fuel bills for what we don't make ourselves, plus supports our habit of flying expensive ships into PvP and if a loss occurs, replace the ship.

so come on our public channel, let 'em know Xar sent you (I'll be on tonight, I'm pacific time). Or send me a mail and try to answer any other questions you may have.

Hi,

I think its best for you to join a wormhole either living in a C2 or C3 with a high-sec static.
I think that would be a good starting point.
