Just wondering how much you charge for the use of fleet bonus off of a orca with mining foreman links? or does no one offer this service to outside corp peeps?

I usually tip them 1M isk.

Some folks get offended that I tipped them and refund the isk. It is all a matter of personal preference.

Let us know how things go with your orca boost rental program. I've been surprised to see miners immediately hitting orca's up for boosts in ice belts using local. And the orca's usually saying 'sure'. Is this common all over Eve?

For an Orca, I'd charge nothing because I'd only run it when my own toons were mining and it uses no fuel. For a Rorqual, I'd also charge nothing because I'm in null and everyone using it is blue to me, hence either a corp mate, friend or ally.

Don't charge a "fee" charge a share. If you have 1 Orca and 5 miners you have 6 shares between everyone. 1 miner: 50%. 2 miners 33%, 4 25% and so on. Base payouts on how long a person was in your fleet (hours) so you don't have idiots fighting over the highest paying ores and don't waste isk wasting cycles on the same roids.

This assumes the Orca will be hauling and refining.

I don't charge as it is on;y running when I am mining myself though I might just let the locals use when I am online

why would i give other people boosts? it just means they're mining more of the ore i'm intending to mine later. **** that.

for me its a bit of market testing...
i manufacture stuff but i buy them from the market. I want lower prices so the more people mine the cheaper stuff gets meaning the cheaper my stuff gets:D. more boosts promote more mining

There is someone in The Forge that runs an open mining fleet with Orca boost iirc. Seen it in fleet finder.

i do:D but honestly its not much considering how much isk/hour more you get from good boosts all day
