Hey all,

I'm looking at taking a break from the game, and to save (a bit) of extra money thinking of letting my sub run out. It just occurred to me, though, that something might happen to the mystery code I got when I bought the Collector's Edition.

Will I still get benefits from it even if my account is inactive? I'm guessing not, but I don't want to lose benefits just because I'm taking a break from the game.

Just EVEmail me the code and I'll make sure you keep the benefits...

What makes you think we have any more information than can be obtained via a petition?

Hm, good point, hadn't thought of that. I'll send one and see what they say.

You bought a collectors edition and now you want to save money.

Sounds legit.

If you're not subscribed to the game, why should you be able to benefit from it?

Greedy much?

So you're saying you basically missed the most obvious way of attaining the information you're looking for. I have no words.

i'll be your friend if you'll send me the benefits.

WELL HELLO Big smile

So, if your mystery code is plugged into your account, you'l be emailed when anything is gifted via it.

Anything gifted in EVE online doesn't have an expiry date and will be redeemable via account management, then assigning it to a character through the redeeming system on character selection.

Anything we give out in relation to the CCP mystery code that isn't related to EVE will depend on what we offer, so keep an eye on your email because you may miss stuff that's related to other titles.

The mystery code stuff is not given when it's purchased, it's gifted OVER TIME. If you're not subscribed no, he shouldn't automatically get stuff.

ive kept my ce box all boxed up and havent scratched any of the codes off yet as i thought the longer you kept the mystery one the more rewarding it would be . is this not the case or do the scratch cards have expiry dates built into them

Since it sounds like you havn't opened the box let me be the first to tell you that they are not scratch cards per say as the numbers are already revealed. From looking at them it does not appear as if they expire. One has a code for a plex, two are items cards (one being for DUST 514 which if you don't play that you can sell the code right here on the forums for about 500 million ISK) with codes that appear to not expire and the last is a code for 2 months of eve time IF it's a new account. I would say open the box atleast and look at the pretty book and sell the items you don't want for the isk you want in EvE.
