I have never had one iota of issues with eve until this morning. I updated to NVIDIA 332.21 I have a GTX 560 when I booted up this morning to update skills the launcher hangs. Generates no reports. It boots, runs long enough to query the CCP servers (shows how many are playing) but freezes to where I can not type in PW etc.

Reverted to old Nvidia patch and game works. My guess is there is a conflict with the NVIDIA "player" and the flash used by the launcher.

From what I've seen, like every other Nvidia driver update kills the 560/560 ti, which is why i still use like 2 year old drivers until i get my 760. Just lucky I didnt upgrade by accident like my friend did, didnt realize he was running bad drivers for his 560 until it died, and Nvidia said "not our problem".

Throwing a monkey wrench into your theory.

I had that very issue with the launcher this morning. Repair tool didn't help. Finally solved issue by reinstalling the launcher from this link, courtesy of CCP Aita:
http://content.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_1_655130.exe

After that, everything worked fine.

Additionally, I just installed the NVidia driver update to which you refer moments ago, and am having no issue with it. I suspect your issue was actually with the game (and launcher) update this morning, and the fact that you had also updated your video driver was entirely coincidental. Obviously, of course, I couldn't say for certain...

Seems to have worked. Thanks!
