Thoughts on some type of Alliance Hanger Array?

After messing with the Corp Hanger Aarray at a tower, seeming to have the option to open it up to alliance, but the inability to actually do so. I wonder if we could have some sort of Alliance array, or fix the Corp Array to actually accept the "alliance" privileges that can be assigned to it.

I imagine this would go over well in WH space since it would seem much easier than a bunch of different ppl living out of their own cans at the same tower.

I really think there should be some sort of 'alliance' accessible storage at POS's. I'm actually sorta surprised it doesn't already exist.

Its one of the most common suggestions around here, you will find several similar (if not exact) suggestions in the past.
Rumour is that the code for corp/pos hangars is quite old but I have no proof of CCP ever mentioning that.

You will find a lot about this on the forums, try a search.

hmmm, a search....because the search function on these forums is always known for its world class quality...oh thats right...

Search..."alliance storage"...

No Results Found.

3 relevant posts withing the last 12 months.

1 post in early November that had no replies. (sorta related, but seemed tuned more toward industry usage)

The next relevant 'post' was found within a thread in "jita speakers corner" ...in April. (great place to have this discussion don't you think?)

The next before that was actually quite similar to my post, but it was from February and with no replies has since been locked. (Sounds like another great place to discuss this topic!)

Like i said, the search function is less than adequate. I refuse to go and read every post in every thread of every forum, including the old one, every time i have an idea, just to be sure nobody ever before me had the same idea.. If the search function does not show me an up to date version of it, i see no reason why there shouldn't be. imho. And as that thread was posted in 2011, it definitely falls outside of my realm of 'up to date'.
