It was just a fun event and they put a few fun things in their ships as an incentive for people to come fight them!

Have you ever thought that CCP didn't work to buy/make the ships they were flying like we did for ours?
It would be UNFAIR of them to not have extra loot to offset the risk we are taking vs. the NO RISK they were taking.

Also, Tama isn't anyone's territory. It's literally 3 jumps from Jita.

There isn't a single more fair place for them to have fought. ANYONE could have come because it was 3 jumps from Jita.

Keep up these events ccp they sound like a blast and keep listening to feedback and fixing things. I and several friends have been very impressed at how you are doing things lately post hilmar letter.

Hopefully next time I will be able to come get a ccp kill mail ( it would be more valuable to me then some plexes haha)

Also I hope someone frapsed this event.

ITT people who didn't managed to get loot ***** about there being loot at all.

Awesome event CCP, it was amazing fun! I hope you do one again, though don't kick the first fleets arse too much next time :(

all you :mad: people need to remember this is a game, it is designed to be fun.

seriously - i wasn't there, got no loot and still enjoy the fact that occasionally ccp can 'make' some fun too.

its not like they are gonna do it everyday, now please stop the tears and fighting - and say: "thank you Mr. CCP"

Would you have found it ethical if you had looted a plex yourself.

Your anger is just about you feeling left out in a very generous display from CCP, try not to be so bitter in R/L as you are in a game.

I missed out on this as well, but instead of being all angry like you, I'd like to congratulate CCP for providing some excitement and content for us pod pilots and trying to share in the driving force behind EVE, which is pvp. The devs that died had fun, the people that got on their mails had fun, and lots of people got to see titans in action for the first time :)

If you don't like events, stay out of them.

Thank you CCP, it was fun, there was loot, there was fleet fun for people that hadn't tried the fleets before.

There was pew pew, but above all, it reminded me of the old days. When my alt character lost it's Deimos, I was laughing, not shaking like I do in high value pvp.

Do this again, it brings back memories of the other great events you've put on, and the lack of them in the recent years.

My single "complaint" would be that the timing was a bit skewed.

Two days from now (Friday, Nov 25) is the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S. (Black Friday)

Many of us who are out of school, and working class players, would have Friday off, and thus a better chance of participating and losing horribly fit ships as well.

What I'd suggest to CCP is to ensure that these events occur a few more times, and cover the non-euro timezones as well, if you can get people up to play. 19:00 EVE Time isn't exactly a prime time for those of us not in Europe.

I'd like to see a couple more events spread out across the timezones.

Democracy is only as good as the despot managing the voting booth.

No it was completely unethical due to the fact Items with real money value were used. And needs to be addressed.

I too sent a mail. I requested more events like this, CCP playing the game AND player interaction \o/ Here's hoping I can make it to the next one.

I didn't even make it to this event, (aussie aussie aussie) and i still think it's an amazingly good idea on CCP's part to get in there and play their own damn game.

So what if they had some tasty lewt that dropped, from the pics i see of the engagement, it was a looting free for all.

All I know is if you couldnt be there, you can watch it all again in lovely HD video too over on the Eve Radio website. The video is in 2 parts and the lag well ... it was there just the amount of stuff on display my poor little rig couldn't quite handle it all.

It was a great event that shows that even CCP still want to play there game.
