I actually had to break out the Carhartt bottoms this morning. Along with polar fleece scarf, polar fleece hat and completely inadequate gloves.

I felt like the Michelin man walking into work this morning.

Mpls and St. Paul have already closed schools for tomorrow since it's more of the same.

Also, for those of you living down south Alabama/Florida way, we're sending some of this to you so you get a taste. Turn your heaters on!

The media is hyping it all up.

When I was a wee lad back in the 70s this kind of cold happened every year.

We didn't call it climate change or blame it on global warming.

We called it winter.

Seems like early spring in the Dutchlands.

Time to get rid of the winter tires again. P

Winter? Where?
I haven't seen below 0 or snow this year...We skipped winter and went from Autumn to Spring immediately...I love the snow dammit!

But my heater is broken. Sad

I had to borrow a small electric heater. Between that and my computer its managed to get to 65F indoors.
