Incursions And Drones.

I want to do incursions but I'm a drone pilot. I mostly fly a domi, but with a small amount of training I can be flying a rattlesnake.

Just want to know how should I go about it. Or are drones not really well liked for incursions.

I don't do them myself, but I don't think there's much in the way of drone doctrine when it comes to incursions.

I can also fly a bomber, since I prefer sneaking around to an F1 monkey.

You can fly bombers in pretty much any alliance.

Oh, I know. Just making myself slightly more marketable. Although I'm still hoping for drone advice for incursions. Because making isk is a rather big motivator for me. And I don't want to just abandon the train time i've done for drones.

Based on my conversations with incursion runners, I'm pretty sure that grinding L4s is better isk/hr than incursions. With one account, you should be able to pull in 100m/hr. Some incursion runners say they get 150m/hr, but it's not like you can just "go run an incursion" there's travel, and fleeting up, etc, etc. Just my $0.02

You won't get too far with drones. Train into Hyperion (blaster) pilot.

Been to wormholes, sacrificed a few nonbelievers to Bob. Got tired of paranoia and my corp was in a different timezone. Eventually just started to question why I was even living there.

ehh.... that may be embalishing a tad, you generally run security before even starting sites so that cuts into your Isk making potentials, and also reshipping when pvp comes around.

But it is hard earned is, fun isk and most of all, has a great amount of player interaction (bar twatjobs who PoS up as soon as they see a cheetah)

How many is "just a few hours". 5 hours? 350m for 5 hours isn't actually that much. I think that was his point, that the number should actually be higher.

One of my other characters recently moved into a c4, and we've been pretty inactive over the holidays. I've played for 2.5 hours total on him and made a little over 200 mill. That's a total of five sites splitting the profits 50/50 with one other person.

I find it very difficult that FCs and people will want a drone only ship into incursions. For incursions you need mainly shiny ships that deal as much DPS as possible. No matter what drones you fit you can;t compare to the 1000+ DPS of those ships. So my opinion is that any drone boat is a no go.

Given the fact that incursions require very specialised fleets, i do not see either the occasional alliance or occasional fleet going into them because it's very easy for everybody to get killed.

I suggest an alternative: if you don't have guns, maybe you could train up for a logi ship. As starting point it should be ok if you like the role.

More like 300M isk every 20 mins in a C5 (unless this has been nerfed too).
