in +3 years I have never seen one of these live events, do they happen during the US TZ?

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

That killboard is confusing. Why was it listing Pandemic for hostiles and friendlies?

Most KBs ive seen usually devide it by kills and losses and highlight each one as 'friendly color' and 'hostile color'

Currently BS Fleets work when you have (or can make your opponent think you have) a Batphone to call in heavies to counter any heavies they bring, OR you're not worth dropping heavies on for other reasons.

CCP's fleet doctrine: Make sure we're worth dropping heavies on, and be sure to avoid having any heavies to back us up.

What an absolute useless event, this just shows how unbalanced this game is. Jumping in dozens of Supercaps to what is supposed to be a fun and challenging event is just lame.

Eve-kill doesn't have any standings information. As far as I can tell it only uses the damage source as the sorting method.

Baaaaw.

What about it makes it lame?

It was a public event, in a place we were ok to bring whatever ships we wanted. Why should our sub cap pilots get to have all the fun?

So basically the biggest blobbers get free alt accounts? sounds reasonable

CCP really needs this experience to be able to understand what the rest of us have been dealing with for a long time.

This is true. I just hope ccp gets hooked on this and starts running more events, its the events that really draw crowds and bring people in.

I think one major reason eve loses players is bordom. For example, i used to run my own ****** highsec corp years ago, and i cant count the number of accounts that went inactive because we didnt do anything and the players just got bored.

That brings me to anohter problem eve seems to have. Transitioning people from higsec to nullsec. Even if they want to, it seems like im dragging these people out to 0.0 space and they just sit here.

This isnt even just my current alliance, its the majority of eve alliances and corps. Only the biggest names are really active on an acceptable level. TEST was by far the most active alliance out of the ones i've been in. My current alliance does a fleet every 2 or 3 days and usually its a highsec fleet. My killboard stats (that ive only gotten one kill in the past month or two) reflects this problem.

Majority of eve alliances and corps do nothing. I have the skills to do things, but i lack sufficient alt accounts to do them on my own. And finding other players who are willing to login and do something is pretty hard

Plonkers - both of you....
CCP run incognito all the time. They have alts that report back situations to the devs. THEY KNOW already

I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking

GF CCP P

For those who couldn't make it, was a great fight with much fun had by all.

Up until the time they got outnumberd 10 v 1 the Dev's were doing quite well.

So for anyone who asks, " Do you play this game ", yes they do and they pvp pretty damned well.

The lack of exotic dancers, Quafe, booze and smokes in cargo must have been what doomed them.

PL hot drop might have helped to.

Looking forward to our next meeting.

I was in the Jita fleet that engaged first i exploded several times. It was an aamazing event, however we pulled out when the caps turned up as to be honest that didn't sound like fun.
It was my first big fleet battle, i lost an atron, Ishkur and Brutix and i dont care (insured, but hey it was fun), it was good fun if confusing and of the three where lost to people on the sidelines. Our FCs where great and a good laugh. So all in all i enjoyed it. I'd love to see more events like that, especialy in low sec where its a free for all.
I do a lot of LARP and one thing we always do after a battle if thank the bad guys, cause what ever you think of it, they took time to entertain you.
As for the coments of the drops, well of course the a big alliance was going to grab it all, they have the firepower to do so, and lets face it someone was going to gate camp too, thats life in New Eden. All i can say was after the dust settled, everyone in Jita fleet enjoyed it, some where annoyed as first in they got no loot to pay for their loses, but thats eve isn't it. Hell there was even a warning on log in!
Thank you CCP more please, around where ever i am parked up, but ambush us next time!
