I can open the star map just fine, but when I attempt to make a waypoint I am unable to do so.
I can open the worldmap control panel but I dont see an option for waypoint management.

Also whilst in the tutorial I cant get past the agent dialogue thing.

Please help.

Right click on the system on the map and select "Set destination".

When I right click, I get nothing.

Try the search function in the world map control panel. Can you search for a system and then right click it in the list to set destination?

To set a Destination (to System or Station in a System) you can open People and Places too.
Type the Name of the System in the search field and press Enter.
A list appears and you can set the Route to the Destination (System or Station in the System) by right click at the item in list.

Wheres somewhere close to the starting area that I can type in? I cant make heads or tails of this map.

Sometimes it's easier if you flatten out the map. There should be an option to do this. Once the map is 2D instead of 3D it becomes much easier to click on the right stuff. Also don't forget to zoom in and out.

Also, look on This website, made by players. Easier to read, easier to understand. But of course the map statistics are delayed even more than the EVE map.
