The problem is that no matter how hard TEST try to be the Goons, you can't be the Goons because Goons are already the Goons.

Im active on Reddit and have been since before Dreddit/TEST came into being. The way TEST acts isn't like it is on Reddit, it's more like they're trying really hard to be goons. It's why I didn't bother joining Dreddit in the past.

You clearly haven't played other games with redditors. The only reason you don't see the mountains of **** spewing out of redditors mouths on reddit is because the ****** posts are dropped to the bottom and you never read them. Reddit is just as bad as 4chan or SA. SA is even better because its moderated like Hitler, whereas reddit is community moderated.

Play any other game with a reddit communtiy and you'll see its just like Dreddit: there's srsbzns guys and people who just **** around. TEST's guys who "**** around" are just really, really, really vocal.

The funny part of all this is somebody thought invading Providence would be fun or at least interesting. Nobody puts up a big fight for Provi and why would you? Nobody goes to Provi for thunderdome. That's just stupid. Ask Raiden. or NC. how their pvp experience was in there. Ask Red Alliance or White Noise about the "raging war" in Provi. Who wants to lose a bunch of ships for the worst space in EVE? WIS needs custom t-shirts. "I went to fight in Provi and all I got was this shirt". Big smile

I'm sure all those big alliances have SOME form of intel that might have warned the pilots who went to "invade" Provi. " You will be bored. You will be blue-balled. You will do little more than grind sov.". Should have named this the LOLwar or the WTFwar.

On a more serious note, it's sad that the game has gotten so boring that fighting in Provi is big news. Between CCP deciding to look at fixing supercaps much too late and the Giant NAP/NIP that has basically killed 85% of null for the game there's really no reason to be in null at all. I had forgotten just how boring this game could be but it's even worse now. This little Test, PL etc. circle-jerk is nothing more than a desparate attempt at stemming the boring state of null and it already has the stink of pathetic on it. The bulk of the blame for that is the players' own fault really. If there was something worth doing I would be all over it, but there isn't. I'm starting to think the loss of NC, BOB and IT were the worst things that ever happened to EVE. Since their passing EVE has been terrible. To be fair I didn't like them either, but at least the game was active and interesting. Those days seem to have passed.

To be fair, it didn't start as a invade provi campaign, we went to shoot Chribba's station, now thats done we're not sure what to actually do with ourselves.

I keep hoping EVE will get back to being EVE. Before all this Incarna stuff and the DRF and D/CF blue-festing I don't think it would have been long until a massive back-stab-orama would have ripped the coalitions apart. See, that stuff leads to a fun game with lots of stories. Now we just talk about bots and supercap fleets that are nothing but "I win!". :p BORING!!!!! I wish I had an answer for how to fix this, but I don't. Supercap nerf won't fix anything when you can put 100+ on the field with full support.

Confirming that

1) TEST = GOON PETS

2) TEST hasn't done anything worthwhile ever

3) TEST has hired PL to do its dirty work because we are terrible and can't do anything without help from another alliance

4) Anyone from lowsec who has their head screwed on right can solo any fleet commanded by a TEST member

5) TEST has no honoure and is full of 300lb nolifers who pay eve 24/7 and command bot armies consisting of at least 5 tengus

6) En'emu is a TEST cap FC

7) AlphaCATS and WelpCATS (Fleets consisting of Maelstroms or hurricanes) are the worst fleet doctrine in the game

8) TEST is nothing but a bunch of attention whores trying to stay relevant

So if anyone is actually curious what is happening on the ground:
CVA, the second oldest alliance in the game and full of high SP players, got absolutely pubstomped in an even-numbers fight last night by TEST, a relatively new alliance with an average of 7m SP per player.

The NRDS coalition, now completely demoralized after taking such a massive beating, are frantically evacuating their remaining stations. If they do not put up a fight for their remaining space, I look forward to spending 15 minutes a night bulldozing through structures, leaving the region in ruins, and watching them spend 8 hours a night shooting stations and ihubs in terribly fit bombers in a soul-sucking effort to retake their space.
