Redesign the Raven

Hi CCP, It's me again,
that guy you hate because when ever I decide to post I bring of valid points that you hate to acknowledge that you made a mistake. It's okay...I missed you to :)

Now to business, Many of our Caldari Pilots have worked hard to get into there first Battleship, Oh do you remember the feel as you sat at the command of the biggest baddest thing you could take into high sec. I remember my first time, "Whats this button do, alas I fire a torpedo inside a Gallentae Hanger......Oh where the Maintenance Engineers furious.... Good times tho, Good times.

I remember getting into the Rokh and was I excited, My It's a very Big gun, I couldn't wait to shoot something, Then I got into my first scorpion..ah it was beautiful, the layout of the ship so close to resembling the actual arachnoid itself....I was so hoping putting a laser on it would fire out the tail like Star Trek Nemesis, but alas you avoided that....I don't blame you, I understand you don't have that kind of money....I knew you were a cheap company as soon as you started the aur scam...but that’s behind us now, isn't is?

And then it happened..... I got into a Raven....What the hell happened here, great stats, BUTTTT, I thought that I was Sqwased as soon as I undocked..Who Designed this thing....did you hire a kindergartner on acid to draw this. It looks like road kill.... Please Fix this..NOW, not later, it's embarrassing me and everyone in it.... I would even allow you to go as far as making it look like a Bird of Prey from Star Trek....Don't make it to similar, we already talked about the lawsuit and you penny pinching habits.

Please Fix this and make it look more like the Bird it is named after, I even have some drawings for that I will let you use, And I have some wonderful models you can use for a retractable missile launcher that we are still waiting on....it's not that hard I will carry you to greatness, because that’s how kind I am, I like making people want to stay and play...unlike some of us....

Not been playing very long then, since the old model a) looked like a lopsided antenna and b) had turret hardpoints on the tail.

Thing is, I like the raven. I also like the domi, and the blackbird. The only ship in eve ugly enough to warrent a redesign was the scorpion, and to be honest I'm not sure the new design is an improvement.

Agreed, instead of looking like a , "come at me,bro!" ship. It's more of a "DON'T TAZE ME, BRO!" ship. Also What a race of copywrite-infringing ships! Caldari LOLOL. Us Minmatar are truely original! coughriftercough

Just fly another ship if you can't bare to look at it. Also another example of somebody who doesn't understand how long it takes to graphically build and program a ship in a game specially the nightmare of the old DX9 code in eve. Roll

Again, if you bothered to read, I clearly stated I had some models already done up, meaning ccp won't have to hire some crappy lazy person like they did with the rest of the designs....

I like this idea. Raven is an awesome ship but it looks ridiculous. I know everyone has their own tastes and that many of the older ship models went for the asymmetrical look. To me the current model looks like a mess.

i also agree, the only decent looking Caldari BS is a ROHK but that thing uses hybrids.......so yeah.....hybrids.

if they can redesign that amarr cruiser which cynos in everytime i log on then im sure they can redesign the raven, even the afterburner on it looks crap, its all uneven and messy.........also WTF is that small thin pathetic excuse of a cockpit which pokes out at the front, it looks like a penis(yes i said penis)

might aswell train for amarr, they get all the good stuff......hmmmm would it be unreasonable to call ccp racist?

you hurt my brain.
as to the raven. it's fine. it at least looks aerodynamic compared to the domi as if that matters in space. I say leave the graphics alone, and stop asking for redesigns. then they might actually work on the real issues like fixing bugs and balancing the ships across the board.
