Just a thought I had

The problem with arguing for adding custom color schemes is that we play a game filled with 30 year old little kids. I don't want to play Hello Space Kitty Online with it's neon pink ships. I'm all for adding variety, just don't add stupidity. I'm ok with logos being emblazoned on the hull of a ship so long as their large enough to see clearly, but I don't think custom colors is such a great idea.

Only 30 year old kids with red-neck mindsets would have an issue with pink ships.

That is the whole point of me wanting my ships to be pink.

A selection of designs would be more preferable I should think. Give someone a marker and tell them to pain the ship, you will find penises and vaginas landing on gate.

People have already done evil deeds in this area. of course. Here's one and here's another. Luckily, these nasty reskinned things only appear on the reskinner's own client. To the rest of us, they still look like normal ships.

But seriously, CCP would have to limit the recustomization options available to players. As somebody said, it would just turn into a bunch of genitalia flying around.

Yeah tbf they're pretty fantastic. Break up the monotony of space-darkness. Also genitals are cool too cause someone is almost guaranteed to create a doctrine and call it "peenfleet" and I'd love to see an archon blob in full regalia of this fashion.

I was not referring to this. I was referring to adding preset colors and designs to wings and such. A few variations of primary and secondary colors would suffice. No need for 1000 degrees of pink or purple.

Yes make it easier for the target caller to make you primary right. The pink ship is primary, pull DPS off the magenta ship and DPS the pink ship.

It might be good if you could have Corp or alliance colour schemes for ships
