Hi Guys,

i'm glad to announce you, that i bought a brandnew PC today.
Because i know that everybody in Eve has to change the system from time to time, i would like ask the Pro's here in the forums how to do the best System-Change with a Eve-Client, because i want to play eve with same settings (Overview, Save-Spot Folders etc.) like before.

Is there any possibility to create a step by step Chronic, how to do the job as best as possible?
I mean here a complete Upgrade based on a complete PC (new Processor, incl. new Operating System (Win 7 Home Premium 647Bit) .

Maybe anyone can help me with some nice tipps and NoGo's?
I would sort this in a step by step guide, so that nothing will be missing. Could be a good guide to anyone who has to change his system.

Thank you very much.
With best Regards

Do you have access to old HD?

If so there is a file named "core_char_" followed by a seemingly random number. That file remembers the settings for every single window/column/tab/overview in the game, so far as i've seen.

That file will exist for each and every account that has ever been logged in on that system, so if you mulitbox, it could be fun trying to figure out which was "yours". Or you could just copy the whole folder over and get all of them.

I think its fairly deep into the "AppData" folder tree.
