Patch notes for EVE Online: Rubicon 1.0.12

My thread was started 15 Minutes before the patch notes update.

Well, now you know to wait at least another 15 minutes longer before complaining next time.

Also, you may have learned that developers are not in the habit of checking precise timestamps on whinging posts to see if an over-eager beaver might have actually been correct for 15 whole minutes about the lack of patch notes.

And thirdly, you might want to work on that impaired sense of humor. Falcon's comment was clearly not intended in anything other than a humorous way, and referred to your avatar. Clearly you're not blind - you're playing Eve and reading these forums.

Lighten up all around.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

I would certainly agree that there is constant complaining about everything that happens, or doesn't happen.

However, if you don't understand why a lack of patch notes is important I'd suggest you ask anyone that has worked as a programmer what they they think about a company that releases patches with no documentation.
OK, I will.

Self, what do I think about a company that releases patches with no documentation?

Well self, that's an interesting question, and I think it comes down to the scale of the patch. If it's not directly customer affecting and/or is a behind the scenes fix, it's fine, as long as internal patch notes and change logs are kept. Many applications can have considerable numbers of changes behind the scenes which end users do not need to be informed about as they are unaffected.

Thanks self, that's answered my question.

This is one of the most impressive threads full of whining and crying - I have to give it to CCP for the harvesting of tears in here! almost better than PEW!

Eccleston got completely screwed. And in screwing Eccleston, they also completely screwed the fans. He could have rivaled the classic Doctors if they'd only given him more time.

I'm gonna be the head-above-the-parapet controversial opinion and say he already did. Then again, the writing of the time perfectly complimented his character.

meh ... having watched Doctor Who from somewhere back in the mid 60s I can honestly say the "classic" doctors were boring old farts who were a cross between a geriatric school teacher and a pedophile boyscout master :D lets be honest fans of the "classic" doctors are the sort of people that read "Boys Own Annual" and "Biggles" as a kid and never really were comfortable with the fact that women now watched the show.

It's damn near impossible, in my opinion, to top Four and Seven.
Eccleston definitely had potential to be the best of the new Doctors... but Tennant was really the only one that had a proper go at getting into the role. Matt Smith was plagued by a micromanaging moron of a writer who has no idea what "depth" or "character development" are. Steven Moffat is only good at writing parodies, adaptations, and remakes. He should have never been allowed near Doctor Who (Blink, and The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances were exceptions to that statement). We'll see how Capaldi does... I am determined to actually give him a fair chance.

Me. I find it convenient. Just because you have an opinion on something doesn't mean others share that same opinion. Blink And I am going to laugh in the forums when CCP eventually makes it mandatory. Will be funny to see tears from the likes of you. Lol

He shares my opinion.

Seriously, what would be in any patch notes that would really be of that much importance that you all are crying and whining so much about patch notes. They got there. Their was nothing fancy in them. Sometimes, its actually a good thing to take a step away from the computer, go open a window and take a deep breath. IT will be OK. You will loose another ship soon and all will be well, no matter what changes or so called fixes they make.

Happy Hunting to all and to all a drunken new year.

Most of the time if there are no patch notes, the patch didn't affect you. Most of the rest, the changes were few and minor. There's only a few cases where large patches or changes didn't (and still don't) have patch notes.

I never could find the patch where they removed drone bays from dreads and titans.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)
