RECORD...

*A voice can be heard off camera. The screen is currently black.*

Is this thing on? *static*

*Pause*

Oh, there we go *static*

*A Sebiestor woman with short platinum blonde hair becomes visible. She is wearing a dark colored tight-fitting jumpsuit with a leather vest and is sitting on a bed aboard a Minmatar ship. The camera seems to be placed on top of a table about two meters away from her. She waves at the camera*

Hey New Eden, I figured I would try something new. My name is Kale, and I'm not really good at writing lengthy posts, so I figured I would make a video instead.

*Kale takes a drink from a water glass that had been placed on the floor near her, then sets it back down*

I have been *static* trying very hard to figure out what I want to skill into for my next ship choice, and I have found that I am really good at going in and out of dangerous space effectively without getting caught that I have utilized for the various jobs I take on, along with my being a professional wormhole explorer.

For *static* example, I was able to go into Doril, *puts her right hand on her left cheek to indicate whispering* which was apparently "claimed" by Razor Alliance, *Puts her hand back down, rolling her eyes, shaking her head while shrugging* several times to remove some cargo I had left there a month or so ago. Not only were they unhappy that I was in "their system", they even jumped an entire fleet to the station I undocked from to try and gank me, along with trying to catch me in other parts of the system. I kept seeing ships materialize out of nowhere!

*She raises her hands at that last statement in exasperation as if to indicate the possible hopelessness of the situation. After taking another drink from her glass she calmly resumes her dialogue*

Fortunately, my reactions were at their usual sharpness and no one was able to catch me. I also figured out how to get around their warp bubble that was blocking my exit. *She smirks* So I was able to accomplish my mission and move my valuable cargo without a hitch.

*Kale picks up her glass of water, drains what is left, then continues*

Now, I am sure there are people who are really good at getting in and out of situations like this. I'm not saying I'm the best, I'm just giving you some background before I get to the point. *she chuckles* Buuut... I am pretty damn good, just sayin'. *She winks at the camera impishly with a cute smile*

*She pops open a beer before getting to a more relevant example*

Up until now, I have been using fast cheap ships for scanning and hacking data/relic sites, as well as using wormholes regularly. A couple days ago, I was exploring deep in pirate space looking for better data sites, when I came across a system that the alliance living there had entirely blocked off the gate I wanted to use. *her tone turns somewhat abrasive and annoyed* Like, no matter where I jumped to to try and get around the bubbles, apparently they had more bubbles! And, there were no cosmic signatures for me to warp to that I could use to get around the bubbles either!

*She raises her hands in frustration and lets out an exasperated sigh*

This brings me to the point of this video. The incident a couple days ago ended with me simply being frustrated, but I got out without a scratch just the same, even though there was an entire fleet looking for me. Though one guy did try and shoot me, before I warped away again. Didn't even hit me though. Anyway, it opened my eyes to my need for an interceptor, so I can avoid being caught by those bubbles.

Here is my question to open up the debates: Which interceptor is the best, and why?

I have heard conflicting opinions saying the Gallente build better interceptors, but others have said the caldari are the ones who have the better design. I don't really care about the race, I just want the most effective. I want to be able to use it for fighting and hunting as well, thus my question.

*After taking a swig of her beer, she prepares to finish the video*

If you have any special fittings for an interceptor that you're willing to share, I would appreciate it! Also, if any of you are in need of a scout or explorer or whatever along those lines, please send me a message and we can work out a price. Thanks!

*Kale smiles and waves. Video feed ends*

Any answers not the malediction and the crusader are wrong.

I'm not against using those. Why do you say those specific ones? What specifically makes them better?

Ok then. Amarr elitism aside, they still are amazingly fast while supporting a good tank as far as interceptors go. Also, big fan of Khanid black and silver. Personally, I think you should just learn to fly them all. Nothing like first hand experience.

True, but I'm not exactly someone with a lot of money. I can't afford to fly them all. Thus why I'm asking.

Is there any offensive advantage those give?

Interesting story... it is always fun to hear of other's tales against unbeatable odds. For myself, I have always enjoyed flying a Claw, and before that, the Slasher. I often turn mine speced for sniping while flying at high speed with little to no defense. It can get pretty fun. I would say Claw, but if you have other plans then go for it, all interceptors have their ups and downs.

But if you manage to turn a frigate to mirror that of a interceptor, then go for it. You'll be spending less for frigate hulls and it would double on throwing off any unsuspecting pilots whom think of you as an easy kill. Then when you are able to afford (and use) more, maybe try to play and test with fitting configurations that will allow the ship to outperform itself. You would be amazed how far the possibility of fittings can take you when done right.

~"That's right. Today, tomorrow, the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that... from here on until forever, every time you look at my avatar - you'll see this scowl."~

~"Forever?"~

~"Yes - forever. It's what I do."~

That sounds amazing! And yea, thanks haha if you have any fittings or specific tips you would be willing to mail me so I can get some frigates to interceptor level I would really appreciate it!

That's what I would personally use. Align to your destination while cloaked under the acceleration of your MWD and you can safely ignore the majority of threats. The Crow boasts a better align time than the Stiletto and has more cargo for holding any treasure you want to bring back. It also has more CPU, allowing your rig slots to be filled with rigs to enhance your hacking prowess. In the case that you get jumped by an anti-explorer tackle bomber or the like you should use the energy neutralizer to shut off their warp disruptor and escape.

Enjoy!

I am also a human, straggling between the present world... and our future. I am a regulator, a coordinator, one who is meant to guide the way.

Crow, because it comes in Kaalakiota standard black and red - thus being the sleekest of them all.

*facepalm* I couldn't care less about looks. I was asking for efficiency and field performance reports.

Crow/Malediction: Sleek and sexy paint jobs in addition to being able to project damage and hold targets with a warp disruptor at between twenty to thirty klicks.

Taranis: For when you just absolutely must go straight into a target and melt them with superheated plasma fire.

Not much else to know I don't think.
