I've been selling compressed items to X ATM092 for a long time now.

Recently I was contracting him a set of compressed items, but due to the limit on contracted and stacked minerals there was a mistake made in the contract. (Basically the game cannot handle more then 2.1b in "items" like trit in a contract, which is something i didnt run into before now...... thanks CCP!)

In short, X ATM092 received 13,805 in 425mm guns but only "paid" for 7,805 of them in minerals.

I've had a long history with him and once i realized what happened i contacted him about the issue.

His response was basically too bad.

Sounds to me like X ATM092 received a Holiday Special for being such a regular client of yours.

eh, you made a mistake and got burned. The guy seems fine to do business with, just don't expect him to pay you back for stuff.

As for the 2.1 billion item limit, 2,147,483,648 (2^31) is the maximum value of a signed integer. Do you know if splitting the items into multiple stacks is a workaround?

We're not business partners at all, he's done 1 job for me and this wasn't it. Our only previous contract was a single compression job in November which I don't think really counts as working together for a while. This wasn't a commissioned job, this was him just offering to sell me some stuff, making a contract and me accepting.

Splitting stacks is a functional workaround, also all of his stacks were considerably light, not just trit, his story about the maximum amount is false and wouldn't make sense unless this involved a stack of 2b zydrine.

It seems like Infinite Force is a liar and a scammer then. Thank you for this valuable information, I'll make sure to set him red.

LOL.

Interestingly, if you check contract history of each pilot there's no contracts between the two of them, Infinite Force hasn't completed ANY contracts since November, and the only thing Atmo bought in November was ship blueprints not compressed anything...

lol, probably because they weren't public contracts.

Technical question: You've been doing business with this guy for some time. Why did you make a contract differently than the other times and get yourself burned?
