Dear Players Mining in a Freight container is a BAD idea.... please for your own good stop.

I am not sure if this is the next epidemic of stupid from new players but I have seen more and more people mining into a freight container...

For the love of all things that is holy to you why would you do that even a venture has 5k ore hold.


Heads up to those that do this .

A freight container can be used as a warp in point. It can be bookmarked by anyone.

Scooping a freight container creates no aggression timer. This means you can spend hours mining and I will come by with a freighter and scoop your ore, and there is not a damn thing you can do about it. (shy of a war dec)


On the other hand keep up the hard work .. we have freighters standing by to clean up after you carry on.

Maybe I like ganking freighters who are mining.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

hmm i guess if you have the patience wait till the owner scoops and drop a bunch of tornados on him...

well there is another reason not to do it ...

Since the post i am 1 enormous freight container richer... funny enough its the same guy ... that lost 2 yesterday full of ore.


Some just refuse to learn i guess.

Freighters nkw CAN scoop in space. CCP added that a year ago with the last winter expansion

I've been out bumping miners a lot in the last week or so, trying to bring the Code to Solitude, and I've been shocked to find enormous freight containers in almost every belt, usually stuffed with large volumes of ore and completely unattended. I'd steal it, but I don't have a hauler out here yet. If anybody else wants it, come on over. Tell them I sent you.

Thank you too. I missed that note. And flying a freighter around to pick up jet cans....(shudder) is not something I would normally try.
