Newly installed client , and there isn't the Launcher folder

I have my EVE client newly installed by both offline download and the “EVE_Online_Installer_673186” , but none of them has the Launcher folder .
I’v run eve.exe ,there is no response .
repair.exe say :
File "anydbm.pyc", line 83, in open
File "dbhash.pyc", line 18, in open
File "bsddb\__init__.pyc", line 364, in hashopen
DBNoSuchFileError: (2, 'No such file or directory')
I run exefile.exe , and can login the game .
What should I do ?

Run exe.file.

But if the game upgraded , how can I upgrade the EVE client ?

Yesterday I convinced a friend of mine to have a go at the game so he DLed and installed it but couldn't run the launcher. After some back and forth the solution was to run repair.exe and let that run for a while, after that it worked fine.

Might solve your problem too.

You can fix this issue by running the repair tool (repair.exe) in your EVE Client's installation folder.
