How do I fit Eris?

Everyone tells me to ride Sabre, but I only have enough skills for Eris :(

The best fit I could get so far is:

[Low]
400mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Overdrive Injector System II
Energized Explosive Membrane II

[Medium]
1MN Microwarpdrive II
Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I

[High]
Light Electron Blaster II x7
Interdiction Sphere Launcher I

[Rigs]
Small Processor Overclocking Unit I
Small Hybrid Burst Aerator I

The ship does have best DPS among Interdictors.
However, tanking, speed, inertia, and most importantly, Optimal range is way to short compare to other three ships.
Will 1.8+0.9 Optimal range be enough to gun down most frigate? Won't they run off before I could finish them at gate?
Please answer my humble question :( I wanna be a good Interdictor pilot!

Your fit seems decent but the plate makes the Eris a brick, unfortunately it is pretty much mandatory not to be paper thin. Personaly I'd use 125mm instead of blasters. As per all gallente ships I'd also snap a Damage Control in there, maybe instead of the Mag Stab.

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to put a web on a dictor and let your bubble do the tackling. There's is a 0% chance that you will ever get close enough to a frigate to hit it with light electron blasters, and even with a web, i think the chances are low.

The sabre and flycatcher are much better at actually doing a dictor's job due to having more than two mids. Fitting a boat is not as complicated as it seems.

First,
buy boat

Second,
assemble boat and make active

Third,
drap module from item hangar to fitting screen.

All modules 'know' where there need to go.

Repeat 3rd until all slots are filled.

Congrats you have fitted your boat.
