Eve Collectors Edition Features

Hey Everyone,

I am considering buying the Collectors Edition but I would like to know which features are available and which are not anymore. The Store still lists the Pre-order features so I wonder if they are still included in the Collectors Edition, even if you buy it right now.

Can anyone give me a list of features that you get when you buy it now and did not pre-order it.

I got the following items through the pre-order codes (items that I did not get using the box codes);

Genolution CA-3 and CA-4 implants
Nef Trasher
Right Wreckage tattoo

The Collectors Edition isn't even listed on their website, I take it they are the actual shipping company that sends the Collectors Edition to you. I will send them a mail.

Plenty things listed here

things listed as pre-order items and no longer available:
- nefantar trasher ship
- amarr drop uplink (dust)
- sleeve tattoos
- Genolution CA-3/CA-4 Implants

I think the site is pretty self-explanatory. It says "offer expired" on things listed above. Everything else should still be included.

tbh I'm not sure - but I am leaning towards that you will not get the pre-order items, they were pre-order after all. Plus that I didn't see anything about that on my 2nd box I just recently received. So that leads me to believe that the pre-order was for just that.

But tbh CCP is probably the only ones that can give an accurate answer when it comes to their store.

You are right, I didnt even noticed the stuff on the lower end of the page... Thanks... I should have scrolled a bit more :D

I have made my decision, I am going to order it now... and I'll see what I get and don't get. I really would have loved to get the arm tattoo. Maybe when I have a bit of money left over, I can buy it from the market.

One small question, the 60 day account that you receive with the Collectors Edition will allow me to train up a new character. Will I be able to transfer that character on day 59 before the account runs out ?

I have too many accounts already... The extra 60 day character training is nice but to use the character I would have to keep the account running, I rather just transfer the character to one of my already active accounts.

musterbrand messed up my order and I missed out on the pre-order stuff. However, everything else is available in-game for isk, except for the Dust code for the uplink, which i purchased with isk from the sell orders forum. So, aside from losing out on some isk value, I don't feel like I missed much.

Theoretically you can transfer at day 59 of 60 before said account expires. You need at least 11 hours to start the transfer. That being said, it's not advised to wait till 11 hours of account expiration for a character transfer. Fly safe o7

You might be better off selling your code via the sell orders forum and purchasing plex for dual account training. Then no transfers required.

That might actually be a very good idea. What do the codes for a 60 day account go for, is it a straight 2 plex for 60 days or do I have to wait and see ?

Dunno, go check it out. Lots of people have been selling them though over there. Probably less than the value of two plex however since plex are far more versatile. But, you save yourself the transfer fee.

If you do want to start a new account and go through with the transfer, here's a little secret: Despite the CE box saying specifically otherwise, the code can be used to upgrade a 21-day buddy trial account, for a total of 81 days of free training.
